Played on Monday morning in just under four hours with a friendly couple from Chicago (they were White Sox fans). Warning - the course sits adjacent to a race track and next to an Air Force base. The jet noise and cars from the track will definitely drown out any chatter from your fellow golfers. The staff was friendly enough matching the quality of what is offered. The gas carts were all is fairly sad shape with no shield and the course was full of tasty bugs. The tee boxes were all flat but a little shaggy. The rough was not too penal but if it did not hold your shot the ball hunt was on. The fairways had great coverage and the grass was long enough for great lies. The traps were well kept but the lack of sand and abundance of rocks/pebbles was hard on your clubs. The greens were all in good shape but rolled at varying speeds making putting a crap shoot. The greens were firm also and did not hold any good/bad shot. The jet noise was enough for me to have needed earplugs but of course who carries those in their bag? The rates and conditions make the course a good deal for the area and I DO recommend giving it a try.

Played at Falcon on recommendation of my pro in California. Teed off at 6:08 on a Sunday morning. One partner was new, and had quite a time staying on or near the fairway. I was a little off my game, but found a number of fairways. Greens were beyond firm. Chips and pitches hit hard and bounced a long way. However, the putts were slow. Looks like the heat and possibly lack of rain had left the greens bumpy. Overall, nice layout, great friendly staff, very good value for the fee ($25, I think). I recommend and will be back.

Great value if you don't mind the occasional noise from fighters taking off from Luke Airforce Base. Liked course so much that golfed it the next day. Par 3s a challenge with two of the four in excess... Continue »

Great value if you don't mind the occasional noise from fighters taking off from Luke Airforce Base. Liked course so much that golfed it the next day. Par 3s a challenge with two of the four in excess of 200 yards!

I was in town for the weekend and decided to check out Falcon on 11/15.

The course was in good condition, tee boxes were level, fairways nicely kept, greens were in good shape but a little slow. All in all a fun course, easy for the beginners in our group, nice staff. Good value, I would play here again.

Close to Luke Air force base. Once in a while distracted by fighter jets.
