Just came back from our Central Coast Trip. We went Friday, July 30th and played Monarch Dunes, Cypress Ridge (Friday), Hunter Ranch, Morro Bay (SAT) and La Purisima (Sun)


Play Hunter Ranch (at) 6:42 am on SAT, July 31st. They are running an online special for $55 including cart! There was a ton of fog when we teed off. By hole 3, the fog was gone. This is one hell of a course. It's build right along side many vineyards. The feel of the clubhouse is very nice. The restuarant looks very inviting and had a tremendous wine list! The layout of this course is a scenic journey. While Monarch Dunes had plenty of tall trees that line the fairways...Hunter Ranch was lined with actual vineyards. Where else can you play a course like that in Southern California! Many different elevation change holes with water in play. My favorite course of our Central Coast weekend. Greens were fast and firm as the day progressed. Wind comes into play on this course in the back 9. Keep an eye on your tee balls! Order the Hunter Ranch Cabernet Red Wine after the round...for $20...great deal.....bad hangover.
