I enjoyed playing this course and it was well worth the 38.00 dollars we got it for. good layout with nice holes and a fairways with a lot of room. If your in the area or just driving past it, its worth stopping. Here are some things that I feel need to be changed on the golf course. First, the rough is very thick and hard to advance the ball. Second, not enough yardage markers, def need a lot more. Finally, we did not have a cart attendent to buy food or drinks, beside that, if i was passing through, i'd play it again.....one more thing, where some bug spray.

Played on 3/19/09. The course is in excellent condition. From tee to green everything is green and lush. The rough is difficult because it has been allowed to grow, so your ball can sit down and make the shot out a little tricky. Greens roll true. The scenery is spectacular and the course gives each hole a unique, but fair challenge for the golfer. Staff is professional and friendly.

Played here for 4 days in mid january as tryouts for Santa Barbara city college. It was my second "set" of times playing here and it quickly got to one of my favirotes in the state.

Played here for 4 days in mid january as tryouts for Santa Barbara city college. It was my second "set" of times playing here and it quickly got to one of my favirotes in the state.

It's not well known, and out of the way unless you live in Paso or are cruising down 101. If you get the chance, PLAY HERE. It's is a fantatic course. Tough but fair, with a backnine that can really mess up a good round.

The greens are always perfect. Spend some time on the practice green because they test even the best of putters.

It's just a beautiful place for golf, with a forgiving front nine, and a not so forgiving back nine. Check it out.

Conditions are a little spotty with some dry patches and barren tee boxes, but don't let that stop you. This course, even with spotty conditions, is still good and has many memorable holes. Great rate with the Players Club. It was real foggy this morning and very chilly, but maybe that's typical for this time of year. (It was absolutely clear and sunny from the bay to Monterey on the drive down....foggy only in the Paso area). We teed off at 10:30am on the 10th hole, rather than the 1st hole. Apparently the fog burns off on the back side earlier in the am. Just the same, layer up. You bay area golfers know just what to do! All in all, a good course. Would recommend anytime if you're in the area.

a great course, it should be good for golfers of all handicaps. The front nine has medium difficulty, and sets you up for the difficult back 9, esp. holes 11-14. The entire course is excellent, and is always in excellent shape. The practice range is the best I have seen; there is always lush grass on the range, and there are 5 total practice greens around the course along with 3 70 yard holes next to the range, which are super fun to play. The value is great, it is in a beautiful, home-free location, and, despite playing or practicing at this course over 100 times, I have never seen it in anything approaching bad shape. The worst I have seen it is when the fairways get slightly brown, which is not a problem at all. The only thing I don't like is the weak finishing hole. But it's a great course to play anytime.

Walked on with a buddy on a Sunday afternoon, nobody there. Of course, the Ryder Cup finals were concluding so that may have played a part. Cruised though 18 in 3 hours. Wonderful conditions, but like La Purisima, a bit rough along the edges. Challenging and enjoyable, some course knowledge makes a big difference. Plus, I've never seen so many squirlles in my life. They used to be able to shoot the little b*st%rd s but I guess PETA must have put a stop to it. Seriously, they were running around like teenagers on spring break.

WOW, I think sums at up for me. this is by far the best course ive played .It a unforgiving but very enjoyable course . Walk on as single saturday,2 cars in the lot mine and the guy i played with.Tee off at 6:20am finished at 9:40am. Played at nice pace but not rushed.I'll go back soon and play the course again . if anybody has a chance to get up around Paso GO PLAY this course.

great course, great facility, great service, played white tees, had really enjoyable day and will return soon. layout/tee box choice offers challenge for every level golfer....windy in afternoon!
