Hey Guys,

It's been a while since I played the Classic Club. From what I remember it was tip top shape and a great course. The most recent photos from @JohhnyGK are gorgeous shots (delicious to be exact!) and it's sure to hook anyone to try and jump on it and be there.

I'm just checking with everyone here hoping to get some answers as I'm going to try and get on it this weekend, but I'm not sure if it was aerated recently as some or most the notice/flag had been coming off. Obviously, I just want to be sure it'll be worth the greens fee and time in that great layout of a course to play it this weekend if anyone could provide some fresh scoops.

Thanks in advance.

Hit'em long and straight.

_n.

Classic Club does not aerate until the Summer Noel.

This summer they will be doing a 1,000,000 bunker restoration project, yes you heard right, 1 million, and if you ever played Classic Club that should not be too much of a shock. So the bunkers are not up to their standards but the rest of the golf course should be gorgeous and I'm already a little jealous.

Johnny,

That's great information, and I very much appreciate it. Yes, I do remember them having plenty of bunkers with fine white sands though I didn't think of it in the million. They were huge deep and they come in clusters. Yikes! Hopefully I'll be able to avoid them

Thank you again, and I'll be gearing to get on early and hopefully either this Saturday or Sunday.

Know Before You Go!

Matt and I played it in late November and the course was in fantastic shape. I'm definitely going to go back and play it again. I thoroughly enjoyed the track and customer service.

Noel--your going to love it--it was a top 3 course for me. Very fun layout, challenging but not too challenging. Condition wise it was around a 9/10 in December. Not surprised that it used to be a stop on tour. Have fun!
