Very disappointed in the US players. D Kang is not a player who I have high expectations of. Lexi Thompson was a disaster IMO opinion. Apparently she can only play with Cristy Kerr. Morgan Pressel showed why she has never amounted to much over the last many years (she got trounced). The Korda sisters are a great hope/future for the US on the LPGA. Angel Yin is going to be a superstar (IMO) in the years to come. She should have been sent out against Peterson IMO. The other players certainly showed their ability and worth, though I was disappointed in Annie Park.

Not impressed with the lineup that Inkster set out and up? I think she outsmarted herself and I also believe, she did not have much faith in her players, with the way she paired them up? Especially at the bottom 4? I would have expected the rested and well played Korda sisters to take on Norquist and Peterson. I even think Angel Yin would have beaten Peterson?

Losing by 1 point should and will leave a bad taste for these players for quite some time.

And shame on NBC for only allowing The Golf Channel to televise this? Many in America who do not have G C and might not even watch much golf, certainly would have tuned in?

In what was probably the most exciting finish in Solheim Cup history, Team Europe defeated Team USA 14 1/2 to13 1/2 to win the 2019 Solheim Cup.

After the completion of the match, Suzann Pettersen announced her retirement from professional golf.

Angel Yin is going to be a superstar (IMO) in the years to come. She should have been sent out against Peterson IMO.

Not impressed with the lineup that Inkster set out and up? I think she outsmarted herself and I also believe, she did not have much faith in her players, with the way she paired them up? You cannot criticize Inkster for not sending out the Korda sisters and/or Angel Yin against Petterson and Nordqvist since the captains have no control over who plays who. All of the lineups...for all three days as a matter of fact...are blindly submitted and the players face off against each other based upon their position on those respective lists. In other words, those slotted at #1 are matched up against each other and this continues down to the final spot. As a result, neither team has the luxury of being able to specifically control the matchups so it becomes a guessing game...with a little luck thrown in for good measure...as the captains must anticipate how the other one might compose her lineup.

Both Inkster and Matthew front-loaded their rosters for the singles matches but also went with experience at the back end for some balance, with Matthew doubling down with Petterson and Nordqvist while Inkster put Pressel in the final spot. It was a brilliant move by the European captain, who took a gamble by naming Petterson to the team, but it paid off in spades when she delivered the final blow with that brilliant approach shot and Cup-winning putt on #18.

Such a wonderful way for Petterson to finish her career as she quickly announced her retirement from competitive golf almost immediately afterwards. No doubt in my mind she'll be a future Solheim Cup captain in the not-too-distant future.

And what's up with your love affair with using question marks in your posts and reviews?
