What are you favorite or the best courses within a 60 minute drive from Downtown LA? The best I've played so far are below, I'm looking for more to add to the list, maybe courses that aren't on Golf Now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Best Played:
Oak Quarry
Moorpark
Rustic Canyon
Sand Canyon
Angeles National
Tierra Rejada
Coyote Hills
Industry Hills
Tearranea

Haven't played yet but on the list:
Goose Creek
Sierra Lakes
Black Gold
Rams Hill
Sterling Hills

Other course on my radar, if you have any insight it would be much appreciated:
Upland Hills
Simi Hills
Mountain Meadows
Candlewood CC
Los Serranos
Royal Vista
Skylinks
Santa Anita
Azusa Greens
San Dimas
Anaheim Hills

I'll go by distance rather than time since, as we all know (those who are CA natives), 90 minutes could easily be the commute from Downtown LA to Aviara on an early Sunday morning as much as it could be from Downtown LA to Rustic Canyon on a bad Wednesday afternoon. With 90 minutes equating to (on average) for me ~75 miles, I would say:

Rustic Canyon
Industry Hills
Trump National
Monarch Beach
Goose Creek
Olivas Links
Moorpark CC

60 mins from downtown LA gives you about a 5 mile radius of courses

Leaving from LA I am usually going against traffic both ways. But yes, lets say within 60 miles

The only way Rams Hill fits in the 60 minute (give or take) window is by helicopter.

But it would be awesome!

I noticed that no one mentioned Elkins Ranch? Located close to Rustic Canyon and Moorpark. I think it is worth the trip.

Sierra Lakes is more than 1 hour from LA. But be prepared for wind?

Upland Hills - call for conditions before hand. But a fun course to play.

Simi Hills - good one. Very accommodating to singles. But usually very crowded.

Mountain Meadows - not one of my favorites.

Candlewood CC - good one.

Los Serranos - I do like the N course.

Royal Vista - Very nice 27 holes, when it is in good condition.

Skylinks - good choice.

Santa Anita - another one that needs good conditions when playing.

Azusa Greens - not for me personally.

San Dimas - good course IMO.

Anaheim Hills - not a fan of this layout.

Definitely not the "best of the best," but I'd add Los Verdes and Navy (Destroyer) to the list. Candlewood is fun. Rancho Park is good. Olivas Links is a must. I'll second Elkins Ranch. Is Oak Valley within 60 miles?

some more options :

El dorado in Long beach is a decent course.
Glen Ivy in Corona.
Tijeras Creek in OC

Oak Valley is definitely worth it.. maybe a little more than 60 mi from downtown.

a little pricy but Pelican Hill in Newport beach. (50 mi give or take )
