I just think that's a very good deal if that's the ball people play.

It's actually $23.99

so...

27.97 .......3 boxes
2.71 .........tax (?)
12.00 .......shipping (?)
42.68 .......total

I've never heard anything better- have you?

FYI, I picked up 2 dozen of Kirkland "Performance Plus" at the Palm Desert Costco for $23.99. Decent ball, but not nearly the Costco ProV1 that it's hyped to be. I've heard the original version was better. Long enough but feels "clicky" and really rolls out after chips and pitches. Still, it's a good price for a medium performance ball.

They are the three piece . . . at the Carmel Mountain location they have moved them around trying to spur interest to little avail. If you play mid range balls they are a deal. If you are looking to replace high end balls you might have to wait and see if they go back to making the 4 piece.

Any urethane covered 3 piece ball at 12 bucks a dozen is a smokin deal even to die hard traditionalist.

I played a whole round with the new "Top Flite" kirkland version when I was knocking it around my local track.

It's hard to get past the the complete utter disappoint that the new one is vs the greatest golf ball in history IMO.

But, when I blocked out in my mind that it was a kirkland. It's actually a solid distance ball. I would say it plays in between a callaway warbird and superhot.

It feels in your hand harder than when you hit it. It doesn't feel like a rock. The spin was fine. Won't zip it but it will still sit down. It was surprisingly durable.

I would definitely recommend as the best value for price for quality for a beginner to average golfer.

I played 9 holes with a new Prov1 and a kirkland tour ball. I am telling you there was very little difference in distance and feel from these balls.
I am a 2 handicap, I measured distance on two very well struck shots with different irons and the balls were side by side.

The ProV1 did have a little more bite around the greens and on chips. ProV1 was also a little more durable. (I took some hard full swing with a brand new vokey to see which one got chewed up more.)

All in all for the price, if I was price conscious, I would get the kirkland brand all day long!
