This is a fun course and well worth the money. We played on 7/25 and were paired up with a couple of locals that could not have been nicer. I look forward to playing the course again!

Greens and tee boxes need work. Pace was fine. Good clubhouse and staff. Lots of passes by drinks cart.

played on 5/29/2008, and thououghly enjoyed my round. The course was in good shape. Some wind comes up in the afternoon, but that only makes play a little more interesting. I found the putting green fast, and the course greens slow. All in all a very nice golf facility. I'll be back.

Played on Nov 18, 07. Course and greens were in good shape. No rain recently, so conditions were dry. The Course is walkable, but my buddies had a internet special so we rode.

I went during aeration for a really great green fee. I have to say, as a beginning golfer, I was a little intimidated by the houses lining the front 9 holes but I got over it and got my first birder in the process.
This is a links style course so there aren't many trees in the way to speak of but there are plenty of of little up and downhill lies to test the beginning and average golfer.
Overall I'd say that this course is a little tough for beginners or those that usually shoot 100+ but it is an enjoyable course all the same.

PLAYED FRIDAY BEFORE 8 A.M., AND GOT A GREAT RATE OF $34 WITH A CART, AND REPLAY IS $14 BEFORE 1PM AND $10 AFTER 1 PM, I CHOSE THE REPLAY AFTER 1 AND BOUGHT SOME LUNCH WITH THE $4 SAVINGS.
WELL, TO THE GOLF COURSE, THEIS GOLF COURSE IS A REALLY NICE AND WELL MANICURED GC THE FAIRWAYS ARE CUT NICE AND TIGHT SO YOU CAN GET A GOOD LYE WHEN YOU HIT THE FAIRWAYS. THE ROUGH IS KEPT A BIT LONG SO IF YOU GET IN, YOU MAY SOMETIMES HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME SPOTTING YOUR BALL. THE COURSE HAS SOME ANGULATION THROUGHOUT THE ROLL OF THE COURSE, SO YOU MAY HAVE SOME SHOTS IN THE FAIRWAY ABOVE OR BELOW YOUR FEET. THE SAND BUNKERS HAVE SOME GOOD QUALITY SAND, AND SOME HOLES HAVE BUNKER WALLS THAT ARE PRETTY STEEP, BUT A GREAT DESIGN APPEAL WILL PLAYING. THE ROUGH AROUND THE GREEN AND THROUGHOUT THE COURSE HAS THAT REALLY STICKY/GRABBING KIND OF GRASS, SO YOU DO NEED TO REALLY HIT DOWN ON THE SHOTS TO GET YOUR BALL UP AND OUT FROM THE ROUGH. THE GREENS ARE CUT TIGHT AND FAST, YOU DO GET A REALLY GOOD TRUE ROLL, SO TRUST YOUR LINE AND PUTT TO THE CUT.
I LIKE THIS COURSE SO MUCH I PLAYED IT AGAIN FOR THE $10 REPLAY. I WAS ON VACATION TO NO.CAL, SO I PROBABLY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY THIS COURSE AGAIN, BUT I WOULD RECOMEND THIS COURSE TO ANY LOCALS

Course was in pretty good shape dispite the recent rain. Greens were holding almost all shots. Bunkers were very challenging. Lot's of them spread around the course. I did like how different holes had different kinds of sand. Fluffy on some and more compact on others. Decently fast greens as well. Course is not worth the $70 posted fees. Online specials are the way to go with this one. All in all a nice experience. I would play again, but only with discounted prices.

Great course for winter conditions. Excellent drainage systems. Links course with few trees allowing a little extra room to spray drives. However, there are many mounds, creating uneven and difficult lies.
Overall, very pleasing course with creative and challenging hole layouts.

played for the first time in late september, booking on golf now for mid week play. I had mixed feelings about this course. There were a couple of really good holes, most notably the number 1 and 2 handicap holes. The former, apparently is always accompanied by a huge backup due to the blind tee shot with major OB "opportunities" to a second shot over a ravine with more trees. Luckily, that was not the case today even though we were stuck between a slow foursome on the front nine.

The parts of the course that has trees are cool and quite challenging. There are also a couple places where water and well placed bunkers are in play. But overall, the course is wide open with very few trees and was rather uninspiring. Moreover, the back nine is covered in duck sh$t .

Finally, the greens had potential to be nice, but were not in the condition on this day. In fact, they were a bit shabby even by public course standards (thats not counting the duck sh$t all over a few of the back nine greens).

If I were a local resident, I'd play this course every once in a while if I had heard that conditions were peak. Apparently nearby Rooster Run and india creek are very quality alternatives (but they arent on golf now).

course was in very good condition, except for the sand traps. For some reason there was standing water in some of the traps and all the traps were hard packed.

Fair for scoring. Always in good shape. Drainage has been improved over the past year and the practice area is perfect. For the price you can't beat it.

Played on Sunday. Course was in ok condition, some soft spots, but there was standing water in most of the sandtraps. Most of the tee boxes had uneven lies. Pace of play was fine, you could finish in 4 hrs 15 min and 4 hrs & 30 min.

great course for winter weather in California. The ball bounces down the fairway like it was summer even during the rain. Very flat. Difficult to lose balls.

Played twilight on 01-21-06. I was told by the pro shop desk I would be able to start at 1:30, Started at 2:20. Two very slow groups ahead and one was a fivesome. The fairways were pretty good. The greens another thing entirely, golfers should repair ball marks! Managed to get in 10 holes before dark. I had a good time because of the group I played with and the scoreing was good overall concidering. I will play the course again with out a doubt. Green fees $19.00.

The condition of the course is good, even after some heavey recent rains. However, the course is not very interesting or scenic. This feature made me not want to visit it often, as accomodating as everyone there was.

Tough course with the wind. I played in September and found it fairly difficult.

Its a links style course with small hills everywhere. This course punishes you for missing fiarways.

The traps are a mess. I got stuck in them too much. The sand in many of the greenside bunkers (i hit them all) was almost concrete. Impossible to hit out of. Other than that, a great course.

The #1 handicap is #7. Its a severe dogleg right around and over protected wildlife lands. Its playable from white but frustrating from blue. I dont think its a poor layout though, just difficult.

This is fun course and a great golf value as the green fees are super reasonable. It probably ranks easy to medium in terms of difficulty. There are two drawbacks to playing here: the 7th hole is one of the poorest constructed holes I've ever seen. It's seems that they just crammed in a par 4 where there really wasn't space for one. Why not redesign it as a par 3?? The other draw back is that rounds on Sunday's can take up to 5 and half hours... super slow. Mid week and Fridays are perfect though.

A beautiful surrounding for a course. The course is up and down as the elevatiuon changes. Except fora couple of par 3's, the course is challenging. The first time i have played. It is a course where prior knowledge will greatly help your score. I look forward to playing again.

Good course, but lately the greens are in terrible shape. Seems some have a fungus or some rot going on. Other than that in great shape...the only drawback is the wait at #7. They should have a marshall there to keep the flow going...

One of my favorite local courses. Rough is very thick and tough to play out of. Biggest complaint - the bunkers. Fairway traps have too much soft sand and the greenside bunkers don't have much at all and can be very hard with water in bottom. Stay out of the traps!!!

Great course, especially when you can score a tee time off of golf707.com.
22 dollars for 18 and a cart with possible 2 pm tee times? You can't beat that.
Challenging course, especially the day I played. Interesting when you have to hit a 4 or 5 iron to cover 150 yards ;). Wind makes crappy courses better and better courses even more so!

As we all know trouble can be found anywhere , Adobe Creek is fairly wide open with not to many trees. Greens are moderately fast with small amount of slope depending on pin placement, the traps can be fairly firm if not recently raked. A good course , challenging on some holes and forgiving on others.
Fun to play.

All in all, not a bad course, but what's up with the tee boxes? The last two times I have played there the grass on the boxes was nearly the same length as the primary rough. Not good.

In my regular rotation. A good value and layout. At times the bunkers need more attention to avoid being like the material the course is named after. Once you get away from the houses on the front nine, the course has a diverse open feel that allows you to bomb it or play stategically.

A very good test of golf from the back tees. A seemingly wide open layout is truly a good test when the prevailing winds are blowing. Though this course has alot of hazards, water, sand and undulating greens, it is very playable for players of every level. The very difficult and contraversial par 4 7th hole will most likely be remembered.

Adobe Creek is one of four courses I play on a regular basis. It is a well designed course and a good test from the blue or gold tees. The greens are very true and can be quick particulary in the summer. Stay below the hole! You can score well on the par 5's and most of the par 4's are relatively short. Also it is a good walking course. Farily flat and a nice stroll to boot.

Rough was waaay too thick from recent rains - lost several balls within yards of the fairway. Other than that, it's a great course - played on a Tuesday for $25 using a coupon off their web site. Can't beat the deal. Course is in great shape - just keep it in the fairway.

Its been a while but there are two courses in the Bay area that I have enjoyed over the years, first is Persidio, which I understand has been converted to a public course, and second i is Harding Park in San Francisco, both courses were a good test of your golfing skills and a pleasure to play, beautiful views of the city and the beauty of the lay out at Persidio. Across the bay was Alameda Golf course which was nice little tester. i would thank any one for some feedback on these courses for I will be returning to California to teach this winter.
