This is a challenging course with fast greens. It is in fantastic condition. However, the experience was ruined by the course starter. As a result, my club will never go back.

The greens are the best I have seen them here. Fast and soft and holding. Lush presentation with quick fairways all holes. Pace of play for the afternoon was very good. Nicely attended by drinks cart and loved the challenge of the course. Can't wait to return.

With strong winds and cool temps (64) the blues played very long even though the fairways were dry and quick. Excellent grooming with watering continuing making all of the course very lush. The greens... Continue »

With strong winds and cool temps (64) the blues played very long even though the fairways were dry and quick. Excellent grooming with watering continuing making all of the course very lush. The greens were the most impressive. Fast but soft and holding. Tee time of 1:57 saw few players in front and none behind allowing 4hours 15 mins for the round. Good drinks cart frequency and nice marshalls with a great layout for the challenge. Can't wait to get back.

I played this course in September and I loved it! It was a beautiful day on the course. All cuts were in perfect condition and the pace of play was perfect! This is a must play course for anyone!

This was my first round at EV. Despite all the recent rain, the course was bone dry, the fairways cut tight and it played pretty fast. Greens were pretty good, the bunker sand a fine powder and there was plenty of it. This course will test your skills! Not an easy course to walk, if you choose to do so. Those of you that want to take it on from the tips (over 7000 yards), I'm warning you - unless you have some serious game, you are in for a long, long day. Good luck. I recommend this course and will be back soon.

We enjoyed Eagle Vines. I would probably rate the course a four on a scale of 1-5. For the most part the holes are interesting, the course is well maintained, and the service is good. One hole that we did not enjoy was approx. #13 - a 420+ par 4 from the whites. Given the length, a driver off the tee is necessary to have a chance at par but the fairway is very narrow with white stakes virtually on the edge of the fairway.

The greens at Eagle Vines are recovering from aerification and should be back to their "Johnny Miller" state shortly - they are still a bit shaggy and bumpy. The two areas I saw today that concerned me the most were numerous unlevel tee boxes and the traps. "Unlevel" says it all for that, but the traps could use a better quality sand...minus the rocks I saw in some of them...not a good thing. Top-notch staff. If you ever want to practice your wind game, this is the place...it comes at you. With all the water on this track, it's a good test of all of your game, and it makes you think your way around it. Would be nice if they had all the waterfalls running during the week too.

Played 5/1, worth the drive and green fee, got an
online discounted rate with cart and balls. In great
shape, greens just a little gritty from fertilizer, but fast
and true. Wind made it tough. A challenging layout,
greens are full of undulations. Setting is hard to beat,
among the vineyards, not housing. Just 4 holes along the
highway. Like this one better than Chardonnay.
