Walked the whites, which are their only men's tees (5867/66.7/104) in 2H, 50M after work. They charge $26 to walk, which is at LEAST double what this course is worth. This is an older, shorter course that does not have sand traps. However, hundreds of trees that are 20' to 100'+ tall add some potential bite & severity for almost any errant shot. The greens are mostly poa annua but also have at least 2 others grasses in spots, very noticeable the difference in color plus there are some bare areas. The back 9 greens had been recently aerated and were bumpy and slow. The front 9 greens were a bit spongy & medium slow in speed. Even though they were tremendously better than the back 9 greens, they were still by far the worst greens I have played on this golf season. The greens are hump backed & many are above average in size for a 5867 yard course. Most greens slope from back to front. There are no real severe breaks on the greens, but not alot of straight putts even w/o mounds and hills. Several short par 4's that are very scoreable for most players. The fairways are forgiving in width and were fair, probably the best part of a very mediocre course. There isn't alot of rough. It is pretty obvious that much of the rough does not get watered and was basically worn down, almost hardpan. The rough around the greens are generally mowed down, so a putt or playing a bump and run shot from off almost every green is probably a better play for most players over a lofted chip. Outside the grass lines, players have to punch shots out from under and around trees on beds of thick pine needles & pine cones. The tees were downright poor. There were tons of divots and the coverage that was there was as much weeds as turf. Customer service in the pro shop was a +. Overall, it could be a fun little course to work on your short game and improve your confidence &/or stats with better greens. However, it has gotten steadily worse every time I have played it in the last 2 1/2 years. I will not be coming back.

$25 to walk. Played in 3.5 hours on a hot, muggy afternoon. Fun little tree lined layout where you can make some birdies. That said, I was very disappointed in the overall course conditions considering how nice the weather has been locally for the past couple of weeks. The fairways looked like they hadn't been mowed in several days, on many holes it was tough to tell where the fairway and light rough merged. Your lie was basically the same whether in the middle pf the fairway or 20 yards off the fairway. They must have had a fungus issue previously on their greens. The poa annua greens had hundreds of silver dollar sized to fist sized bare spots, and several had large discolored patches. The tees were average and there are no sand traps on this course. The course was not nearly in as good a condition as when I first played it last summer.

This is an older, shorter course that does not have sand traps. However, hundreds of trees that are 20' to 100'+ tall add some potential bite & severity for almost any errant shot. Poa annua greens that are medium in speed and a bit spongy, but generally putt well. The greens are hump backed & many are above average in size for a 5894 yard cours.
