They are so long I had to take one less club for every shot! I'll normally hit my 7i about 155yds, playing with these balls I was pushing 175! That number seemed almost unrealistic to me but it's true! The balls do spin but not nearly as much as other balls. Due to the soft cover they do scuff pretty easily but at $1 a ball that's no big deal. Out of every ball I've ever tried these putt the best. They are smoother than butter. Bottom line is: Gone is the Nickname Rock-Flite. You can use this ball as your go to ball or as a back-up. For the unbeatable price it doesn't matter. » Close

I loved the feel of them from the minute I addressed my first strike with these clubs. I easily dropped a a couple of strokes on my first round, with my added confidence and the forgiving nature of these irons. I'd recommend them to any golfer who is looking for upgrade! I purchased mine through http://callawaygolfpreowned.com. They arrived in "like new" condition and cost me less than $400.00. Man, what an awesome deal for the price! » Close

I like the info this gadget gives out, and I like that the courses are pre-loaded without any computer hook ups or extra subscription fees. I am not completely confident that the yardages are spot on, because I have had two range finders standing at the exact same spot and have had discrepancies of five to ten yards. Who's to say what was right. I am not saying I hit laser guided distance shots, just that it would be nice to know for sure how far it actually is so that you can dial in your clubs.
I like the hazard yardage front and back distance of bunkers is a big help. It does not tell you lay-up yards but it is easy to subtract 100 yards from the number you are trying to hit.
I have had a problem with the unit not having a charge when I get to some courses. I don't know if was leaning in the bag and got turned on by accident, or ?? It has happened 3 times when I know it was fully charged when put into the bag.
I read the new models coming out have a AAA battery back up feature.
There has only been one course that was not in the unit, which was Vista Valencia, a par 62 course.
If I had the chance to get the one with the battery option I would have waited. These units do save you shots on the course. » Close

I used this product in 2 recent rounds. Obviously more sampling would be required, but I did score better on the back nine both times on courses where the back would be the concensus choice as the tougher of the two nines. The taste isn't bad when thoroughly mixed with water and would be worth a try... » More

This ball has a great feel to it. It is long off the tee and feels great on irons. Stops very well on the greens from any yardage. The arrow line logo is great for lining up putts also. This plays similarly to other 3-piece balls I've used (Callaway HX Hot Bite, Srixon Trispeed, Bridgestone e6+) ... Pretty long off the tee, though maybe not quite as long as some premium (expensive 4-piece) balls or 2-piece rocks designed just for distance (absolutely no short game value), but we're talking just a few yards and your distance may actually be better. It's nonetheless pretty good on distance. What I like the most is that it doesn't balloon nearly as much as most other balls. It has a lower, more piercing trajectory that it keeps. There's not much sidespin off the driver (though poor hits will still impart sidespin, as with any and every ball) so my slice is minimized. Yet I can work it, hooking it around trees when necessary. It has good spin around the greens. It will check up and stop without bouncing right off the green. I've even backed it up and that's not something I'm very proficient at, so you may be able to back it up more than me. The feel off the putter is soft, and it rolls true. The only negative is that it scuffs a bit. However a huge positive is that it's a 3-piece ball that sells at the price (around $20/doz) of 2-piece balls. It's a great ball that will probably give you everything you want from more expensive balls. Especially if you're a mid or high handicap player. Callaway is the parent company of Top-Flite and I think they did a very good job with this one. Their Callaway Tour ix and other more expensive balls such as the Pro V1, may give you more, but only if you're carrying a 9 handicap or lower. For the money this is a very, very good ball. » Close

I own the burner that came out about two years ago. And this model far out plays the older model. The sperated crown design might bother some players but i absolutely love it. they eliminated the excess graphics that the older model had. I can bomb this driver the same distance as the old one, but with a lower trajectory. Mine is a 9.5 degree with a stiff shaft. Some people may shy away from the $399.00 price tag but don't, you will not be sorry. I tried the cbx but i never was real crazy about the adjustable weights. And the huge price tag really puts a downer on this product. » Close

This is my second go-around with a Scotty Cameron putter. Overall, I like it much better than my previous one (Studio Stainless). The Studio Select sets up perfectly behind the ball giving you a boost of confidence. At impact, there is a satisfying "click" that lets you know you hit it pure. Fail to hit it pure, however, and you will know that as well. The feedback is immediate and noticeable. The putter's strongest trait is distance control. This no doubt aided by the fact that you can finally get a Cameron off the rack that has a head weight proportional to the length of the putter. And the grip is AWESOME. It fits my hands perfectly and the mix of rubber and cord is quite nice.
The only negative comment I have is, of course, the price. $300 is quite steep but, unfortunately, is also the norm these days for a "premium" putter. Oh, and the headcover is hideous.
Overall, Two Thumbs Up!
