Played Oct 1. This course is in great shape. You wouldn't know they punched greens 2 weeks ago. The greens are faster than what most courses in the area call fast. Drawbacks are the bunkers are hard and the tee boxes not level. The course is always green and the staff is always helpful. Can't find a decent course that isn't punching in the inland area? Come here.

Course is in great shape. Ony flaw is the traps. Overwatered sand. Greens roll smooth and break the way you see them. Fairways firm. Long par 3's add to the difficulty of the course. Maintenance seen all over the course keeping it in shape. Customer service great and a great restaurant/bar.

Played April 14. There are 5 temp greens that probably won't open for another month. Clubhouse cafe being renovated. Shack at the turn is only source of food or drink. Pro shop and staff helpful. Course is about average overall excluding the temp greens.

Played April 11. Greens are almost completely healed. Have to look close but the ball does bounce sometimes. Greens are a "tad" slow because of this. New sand in bunkers. Everything else is just as good as you could imagine. Can't beat the practice area with 2 putting greens and chipping green with bunker.

Played Wed March 25 for $23. Brand new red carts. No food service other than hot dog stand near clubhouse. Rough is being mowed down but still has huge brown areas with weeds that balls get lost in. Fairways in great condition. Greens are hard and the secret seems to be play the front edge on the approach. Hard to make ball marks. They roll nicely even if the grass looks a little thin. Sand is thin and compacted. Nice course to just walk on during the week. Not crowded at all.

Played Thurs with 8:30 tee time. Front nine finished in under 2 hours and we were walking. No more cart path only rule. On 11 it started pouring and there was nowhere to take shelter. Remember this when the summer comes and you're looking for some shade. There is none. We quit at 14 because we were soaked. The burns and waste areas were now ponds and streams. Real links style golf. We asked about replay policy and got partial credit towards next round. Real nice folks and they are really trying to address all the problems. Course is in great shape. Greens are still too soft for a links course but with summer coming, I bet that will change. Tip for putting, there is no trend to break from the mountains or towards the valley. The course was built on flatlands. What you see is what you get.

I obviously played a different course than willieb from Murrieta. Considering how bad this course was 6 months ago, you wouldn't know it now. We played on Sat with a $40 internet fee with balls. Very friendly staff. Greens have the bermuda waking up and filling in nicely. no more three types of grass. Balls roll smoothly. Not a whole lot of ball marks. Fairways had definite cuts, but no intermediate cut of rough. Miss the fairway and you pay. Tee boxes cut and level, good sand in bunkers but packed. It may not be a $50 trek, but with specials, it's a good bargain.

Played Thurs March 20. Just punched the greens with heavy dusting of sand. Not too bad to putt, only had 2 3-putts, but the ball does bounced. Nobody on the course, reduced rate of $37 due to punching. 4 hour round. Grass is turning green, fairways still cut close, good sand in bunkers. Give it about 10 days for the greens.

7:30 tee time on Jan 31 and still took 4 1/2 hours. Greens were being 'dusted' which means sanded. Greens were full of ball marks. Otherwise, the standard 'Goose'.

Played Jan 19. Greens were soft and slow., but smooth. Fairways were hard and very spotty with a lot of dirt areas in the landing zones. This was the worst part of the course. Sand was great. Service and carts were good. Practice area was restricted to mats. Good walking course.

Teed off at 8:15 after the frost delay. 3rd off and it took 2 1/2 hours to play first nine holes. Pretty sad. Greens were full of marks and hard. Couldn't get the divot tool in past 1/4 inch. Tee boxes were full of divots. Rest of course unremarkable.

Played two days here 12/27 and 28. Course is about 2 years old. Severely contoured greens and target golf off the tees make this a demanding course. The greens rolled like an 11 and were very firm. Fairways were thin but playable and the sand was not compacted. Lots of water and some blind shots make you think before you hit. Service was excellent. Would definitely go back in warmer weather.
