Played here 6/23/17. I have been coming here for over 30 years. Learned to play golf on this track so it has a nostalgic feel for me. Service is much improved compared to a few years ago. Starter got me out 20 min early. Pace was lighning fast for La Mirada, 4 hours :)

Course is in ok condition. Fairways are good except when they're not :). Most of them are good but there are quite a few ares that are really funky. Thin and hard. Traps looked ok (only in one fairway bunker). Tees were not so great. A lot of uneven spots that were pretty chewed up. Not that you can't find a place to put your ball but it might not be where your number one choice would be.

The greens.... While they were in pretty good looking condition they were SLOW. Like really slow. Like my brain can't get my arms to hit the ball that hard slow.... Did I mention they were really slow?

Over all it is a fun track and I personally love to play it. Not too demanding and you can make some birdies.

Since joing the Long Beach Players Club I find myself playing Skylinks the most. You can't beat playing this course for 25.00 with a cart (after 12:00).

I relay enjoy this track. Current conditions are great. Fairways are excellent and produce lot's of roll out. Greens are very nice. Lots of multi tiers and undulations. Local knowledge comes in to play on approach shots.
Many bunkers were recently rebuilt and are very nice. Tees are always nice. Rough is pretty much nonexistent.

Nice collection of short and long par 4's, DL's left and right and great par 5's in my opinion.

For a low-ish index this course is not too tough and you can make a lot of birdies. Mid to high handicaps often struggle here with the water, tight lies and finding the right line on the greens.

Fun track... Go play it!

What a fun track! Don't let the yardage fool you, this course is legit. I only hit driver 7 times. Course is not tricked up, it makes you play smart golf. If you are able to hit your driver exactly where you want it then by all means bombs away! But wayward drives will more than likely be gone.

The poa greens roll very nice. Sure a little bumpy later in the day but that is to be expected.
Fairways were a pleasure to play from as they had great coverage and had a nice cushion to them. Tees could be a little uneven in spots but nothing too bad. Bunkers looked good. Rough was pretty short and not very penal.

This is a carts only course. I don't think I have ever played anyplace where the greens and tees are so far apart. The bridge between 2 and 3 is a trip.

28.00 for super twilight is a steal. If you are in San Diego, play this course. If they could somehow add 800-1000 yards to this place (not likely) it would be mentioned with the very best in So Cal.

Played April 18. Everything you have heard about Pebble is true. It is golf heaven. An unforgettable experience. Conditions were perfect. Loved the poa greens.
Like most have said, you must get a caddie. They know these greens, saved me countless strokes. For instance... Number 3, my approach landed pin high. As we were walking to the green it looked like a ski slope. I thought the break was going to be at least 2 feet. My caddie David said " Nope, that putt will almost be straight, aim here, half a cup out". I listened to him and while I didn't make it it was a very easy two putt.

The stretch of holes 4-10 are unbeatable and unforgettable. I was so happy that I was playing good that day and made one birdie and a boatload of pars BUT....Even if I had hit it all over the place it still would have been incredible.

Here's a tip. There is a Pebble Beach outlet on Cannery Row that has great deals on souvenirs and swag. You can spend a ton of money on that stuff.

600.00+ with caddie is a lot of money for one round of golf but trust me it is worth it ( This coming from a guy that normally plays 50.00 or less munis.

Another tip. Get there with plenty of time to warm up at the range. It is the best I have ever seen. Hit some chips off the shaved approaches, the greenside rough and the bunkers.

I want to go back so bad!

Played here while I was up to play Pebble the week of April 17. This is a wonderful track. Like others have mentioned, don't let the relatively short length fool you. This is a legit course. Toughest 6400 yard course I have ever played. Conditions were outstanding across the board. Very friendly staff ( starter got me out an hour early even though I used a Golf Now hot deal). One thing. I payed 52.00 to ride. I don't think I would be too hip to pay 130.00+ to ride. But nevertheless it is a really nice place, very beautiful.
