Played Micke Grove today, Monday Madness. 18$ to walk 25 to ride. Fairways were in great condition, no bare spots and alot of run. Bunkers a little thin, rough not to penal, a few trees do come in to play. Greens rolled great smooth and stimped about a 9 or 10.
Well worth the price and is a thinking mans muni.

Tee boxes are perfect for a hook lie have to search for a flat lie. fairways are a little tight right now coming out of winter. Greens a little shaggy and slow side. Fun course to play anyway.

Played yesterday, great day. Greens perfect, fairways and rough fantastic. Was in a few traps got one plugged lie,one bladed shot into another trap which I bladed out of. Never know what you get from the bunker's. Great value if you are NCGA member.

It is what it is. Old style course, tree lined fairways and small greens. Everything sparse this time of year, bermuda fairways and rough. Good course for the $. Don't expect to much and have fun.

Played last week right after three days of rain. greens in great shape, smooth and medium fast. Fairways a little shaggy, were mowing the dryer fairways. Long par fours, fun course to play. Would play again.

Played today 11/5/12. First time since the redesign. New routing on some holes, nice layout.
Tee's are some what beat up, some not level alot of divots. Fairways had alot of bare spots, rough was rough, about 3 to 4 inches. Greens were mostly good shape, a few bumps and bounces here and there. A few bad spots on some of the greens. After a long summer I'm sure that everything will fill in nicely.

Price is a little step for a monday morning, $52.00 with a cart. Not worth that kind of money for the conditions.
May play again if I find a deal and after we get some cooler weather.

For a muni not to bad. Worth the green fees to walk, 24.50. Greens are the main defense on this course big sloping back to front. Rolling very good about a 9 or 10 on the stimp. Fairways lush with a few dry spots, around greens hit or miss a lot of thin lies. Bunker good tee boxes need to be leveled but playable. Play the blues for a little more challenge.

Played on Thursday, great day. Tee boxes level fairways nice couple bare spots. Greens rolled nice. Staff very friendly . Fairway bunkers no sand, starter said to play as waste area. Green side bunkers plush except for the one that my ball buried in the face. Oh yyyy, had a great time. Nice clubhouse and good grub.

Played yesterday. Fun course, 1st time need more knowledge to be able to score well. Greens had alot of old ball marks. Not repaired properly. A little bumpy. Fairways had GUR all over the place. Still was fun to play. Not worth the rack rate, get a deal,
Saw cart girl numerous times, nice clubhouse.

Played last week. Course in great shape got deal on EZ-links. Greens not as fast but rolled true. Tee boxes flat and not much damage. Fairways pristine. 1st cut and secondary rough not to penal. Since this is a foothill course, you get way off the fairways no telling what kind of lie you get. Bunkers a little compacted from water and some a little thin. One of my fav's.

First time to play this course. Fair ways not good bare spots all over the place, one of the locals i played with said that they have brought in a new company to take care of course. Got rid of the mud hens by draining the lakes. RTJ design, greens are tough, not a bad play even with the bare spots in the fairways. Very enjoyable day on this course, even with a little wind.

This is a nice course, dont really see what all the fuss is about. Great rate if you are a resident or nor-cal golfer. Easy walk some interesting holes. Nice conditions but not worth the out of town rate of 150$
