Palyed saturday 2/16/08 before noon as a member of tournament group.I played several times at orange course but riverside seems to never played before here. Surprise was huge being $50 golf course from tee boxes to greens.Good conditions nothing to complain except snack shop at turn felt little bit expensive .I think now is culminated moment of green river-riverside course.

Played 2/9/08 saturday at midday.Very nice weather after long cold days to enjoy the golf. Being 36 hole golf course as always moderate quantity of players in course showing relaxed not busy.Fairways shows excellent shape with green & lush turfs very difficult to find out in $ 39.00 golf courses.Greens were one of strongest pride & top boast of this course but not this time.Spongy high green's grass kills the speed to medium/slow ,definitely need to mow or press to recover their fame.Only disfavor side was quality of sands of bunkers that looks like construction dirts not fine sands.
Overall very enjoyable conditions .And very recommendable cheeseburger too.....

Played sat.jan/26/08 after about 2 years since last in tournament group.I saw they eliminated GPS system so you can guide only yardage from springkler on ground.Overall conditions are good but little bit soggy .Greens are medium-fast & smooth with some exagerated breaks(mountain?).Nice views very relaxing & tranquille ambient.

First round of 2008 started at Strawberry Farm ,saturday 1/12/08 at noon.First time playing here maybe I expected too much seeing all magazine photos, website , advertisement even high rated GK points but after round we 4 some all disappointed.Absolutely overpriced golf course($150 regular weekend ,$100 twilight) could compare with half money like with Westridge,Eagle Glen,Trilogy etc. Greens very firm only receive high pitch well executed shots & personally I play around the greens to chip with 56^sand wedge with pro-v1 but I couldn't stop the ball cause not take effect of spin just roll roll roll.Fairways little bit thin with brown spots everywhere but playable. Now , I expected too nice view(especially back 9) & tranqille ambient but only 10th hole you can appreciate lake (or dam) & some holes you can hear passing cars .If I have to make reservation I'll take only twilight time enough to finish the round.

Played 12/27/07 thursday just before noon.Last golf rounding of year 2007 selected here Victoria cause one lazy buddy mine who lives in Palos Verdes never want to drive far to play golf.I can't complain about this course cause I'm paying only $30.00 + something dollars with cart and very good maintained greens.
But fairways are totally different story .Very ugly thin & still looks dormant grass.Lots of divots on tee boxes. We thought that we will not finish the round but we did in 4 hours & 45minutes.

played 12/25/07 christmas morning.Nobody's at course absolutely empty but we had to deal with really strong disturbing wind.As always this course's highlights are nice greens. When you start the game 1st just regular & unremarkable tee boxes passing thin & mediocre faiways ,when you reach to green you think how huge the difference of quality between greens & others. Not enjoyed round cause heavy winds makes me forced swing, missing distance calculation(even 2 clubs more or less)etc.

Played saturday 12/22/07 before afternoon teed off at 10th tee due to some frost issue told by starter.Right now I can tell to all greenskeeper's buddies that Trilogy of glen ivy's conditions are best ever I played including compared with other best courses over so.cal. Fast speed good rolling & soft receptive greens are splendid .Roughs & tee boxes also no complainable conditions. But fairways showing weird kind of 2 classes of turf very thin looks like dormant but still very playable. The course was semi empty but just front of us we had arrogant & rude 4 some (3 men & 1 woman) never waived us at par 3 caused almost 5 hours round.(From the beggining one of them hitted first tee shot before front group hit 2nd shot,so ball past over their cart looking back surprised but this guy never told or gestured sorry about that ,because maybe they never waived to this rude group consequently this rude group never waived to us.)Good ettiquette on course makes everybody happy, guys!!!!!!!

Played 12/20/07 thursday morning .I play golf on weekday only this end of year season. One cloudy & humid day but enjoyable round. The big issue of this course are very slow & need to cut greens.Almost every course's greens are in very good shape after october & november's aeration but not montebello's.Some bare spots on fairways & rough area as usual & pretty soggy but in decent conditions. Also tee boxes.

Played sat.12/8/07 before noon as a tournament member but only 1st group could finish the round.General conditions of course in good shape except some wet part of faiway cause of rain.

Played saturday 12/8/07 for the 2nd time before noon with passing rain & wind. This 2nd time I see more golfers on course than last time ,fruit of constant advertisement I guess.More matured greens with med/fast speed smooth rolling makes feel nice on greeens.Still they need some lacking details like ball cleaner on tee boxes like every other courses have & more yardage stakes.Overall Dos Lagos on it's good way.

Played 11/24/07 saturday as a member of tournament group of 22 people.Same conditions as 1 week ago.Except many soggy wet fairway parts general conditions are good to excellent especially greens rolled very good responding exactly lie says without tricks. It's very glad to see recovering back to their glorious greens conditions as used to be 3-4 years ago passing bad times I think last year. And I saw the crews passing around checking ground conditions. Very good.
