Been awhile,, Eagle Glen is doing the right things,, staff was great, cart gal was around , Lunch staff was terrific. Course is in great shape, greens are fast and tricky. Everything is as it should be for the $$$. We will be back soon.

we have not been here for awhile, The Good: Nice waterfall in the practice putting green, nice signs throught the area, new bunkers are terrific, some new greens, all very nice. Best looking front desk gal, "ever" . I mean ever! The Bad, OK, some of you think a 5 & 1/2 hr round on a Thursday morning isnt tooo bad. But we had a 10 am tee time, finished in FIVE AND ONE HALF HOURS!!!!! We will NEVER come back unless we have a very early start, NEVER. Tee boxes were a disaster, not all of them but enough to make you forget the almost good ones. Bunkers ranged from dirt, to soft mushy sand. During this FIVE and one Half hour round we noticed most if not all bunkers were not raked by ANYBODY!!!! We figured it was because of the LOOOOONG round. Payback... Greens were OK, Slow but OK. So, the place LOOKS good, but you need to have NOTHING to do with your life if you play here after maybe 8AM. As the posts below advise, what the hell is it like on the weekend. And Why are they soooo busy with such crappy conditions,, $39 senior and $52 reg. Maybe its the desk girl that brings them in.
As I said we will return, but with a before 8am time. We really like this place, but not today....

Monday 8am tee time,, havent been here for awhile, our bad, this place is terrific. Greens were almost perfect, maybe too perfect for us, tricky, no way to tell up or down, GREAT challenge . All areas are in very professional shape,, Staff was right up there with the best. Senior rate of $45 is a steal for this caliber. Free range balls to warm up. We will be back soon, need to put the info on the greens to work.
Worth the drive.

Been awhile since last play,, windy,, very windy today,, but,, this place is in terrific condition. Greens are a little slow, but in great shape. Staff was very nice,, no crowd, had the place all to ourselves. Cart path only for a few more days,, it is a workout here. We will be back. Seems to us with NO Business they might consider a senior rate during the week..

11/4,, have to disagree with latest postings,, The SCGA is not back to great conditions,, yet,,, . The course fell out of escrow, no new owners,, the guy did not like what he saw when he got off the plane to check out his purchase. The greens are spotty,, the fairways are mushy and thin. Too bad as we really like this place,, but even at senior rates not worth the drive,, yet,,,,

I agree with all previous reviews,, wonderful views, pristene conditions,, staff was terrific, clubhouse is opulant and comfortable. Helen the bartender is teriffic.
The layout is Disneyland at best. The designer put this gem together to cause doubt at almost every shot. Fun,, NO ! a test,, OH Yes. I would return for a good price on fees. But dont need the aggravation for full boat cost.

played 9/23, AM,, $35 senior, havent been here for awhile,, very surprised at the nice condition. Always liked the layout,, with new ownership this place is looking way up. Bunkers are white sand, very good looking. Greens are fast and hold shots. They were punching the tee boxes, they will be great in a week or 2. Fairways were a little shaggy, but that is due to being punched next week. This is a fun, sometimes tough test. Wish it was closer to my house.

What the hell happened to one of my favorite golf destinations? Primm ,Lakes or Desert courses are really messed up right now. The desert is closed till 9/11, under repair, can be viewed from the Lakes course which I played 9/2. The practice green was the first thing ya notice, spots or chunks missing, dead grass, holes. Never seen this before. Fairways on the Lakes,, dead areas, dirt in a LOT of areas, greens on Lakes course bumpy, holes from who knows what, no straight line putts even from 2 feet. Breaks my heart. The desert is to open 9/11 or so, we saw the desert course.. its freaking worse... Staff was as usual first rate, they were kinda embarresed, we asked what happened, they did not respond. Its cheap right now,, $85 for 2 nights stay at Prim and one round of golf,,, shoulda known something was wrong. Used to be MGM property, if the Herbst Boys who are the new owners are gonna make Primm Valley a stand alone financial entity the Lakes and Desert courses are history. Wont be back till someone advises it is repaired. They should know there are casinos and Golf courses in Palm Springs area, very nice ones.. Oh, by the way, Primm Hotel is also getting to be a bigger dump, never was much but its going backwards. We were asked to stay a 3rd night for $10,, no thank you... A very sad trip. Used to go 4 or 5 times a year. No more.

2nd time here, $40 midweek, what a steal. This place is getting better all the time. Membership is way up, course is in terrific shape. Staff treats EVERYBODY as a member.
I wish I lived closer, I would join. Wont be long and we wont be able to play.. Take advantage if your in the area.

Primm Desert Course is back to normal terrific shape,, Tee to fast smooth, greens are perfect. Stay out of the bunkers and you will have a fun day. They got their liquor license this friday,,,, A must play,, I would advise an early tee time this time of year,, wind and heat...

Played last week,,, still the same,, fun day, not too tough, greens are not fast. I would prefer to go to Emerald Canyon or the Refuge,, but again a fun day. Staff is terrific.
