Played 9/9. Greens were in bad shape, lots of ball marks and bare areas. Sand traps had little sand in them, very hard. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape. Played quickly though, 4.5 hours on a Saturday with a 10:50 tee time. Biggest complaints though, no yardage markers save for the 100, 150 adn the like, every now and then you might find a sprinkler head, plus i only saw ball washers on three holes. Not what you want for 70+ dollars.

Played 7/3, teed off at 7AM, done just before 11AM. Course was in good shape overall, but geez, what is wrong with fixing a ball mark on the green. I have never seen such scarred greens. They were smooth if you got a line without marks, but those were few and far between. Tee boxes a little ragged, but the course was very green, and the fairways were great. I think they lowered the price a few dollars, so I think it was a little better value. Great to play in LA in under 4 hours.

course in decent shape, greens need to be cut and rolled, felt like i was walking on carpet. Tee boxes in horrible shape.

Played 3/26/06, course was in great shape from tee to green, only minor problem is the proximity of the freeway to some holes. Nice course, good service.

Played 1/21 in club tournament. Course was in okay shape, fairways excellent, greens good lot of ball mark scars made them bumpy, tee boxes a little ragged, and traps inconsistent.

Played 12/23. Course in okay shape. Greens in decent condition as usual, hard but relatively smooth and quick. Fairways okay but thin in many spots. Tee boxes very thin, lots of damage. Traps were light on sand. Pace was okay for the day. Played w/ my 10 year old, so that's always a good day.

Played 12/16. Course is in great shape overall, fairways very hard, played very links style. Hit a poor drive on 9, but was able to run a 3 wood onto the green from a yardage much longer than I could normally. Greens very smooth and fast. Only problem were some of the tee boxes were bare. Always a great course.

Played 12/11. Had a 9 am tee time, flew thru the first 11 holes. Then waited the rest of the round, still finished in under 5 hours, but should have been faster. Fairways and greens in good shape, must have put new sand in traps, very fluffy. Tee boxes in fair shape, only real complaint was course very saturated in rough and around tee boxes. Deep rough and lots of trees, must stay in fairway to score here.

Played Friday 11/24. Typical Chester day, tee time 9:40, teed off 10:15. Took almost 6 hours. Course in decent shape except tee boxes which were threadbare. But it's exactly what I expect there so no surprises. Good company though, almost reached the 18th in two, little chip for eagle, missed it.

Played 11/12. Course is in good shape from tee to green. Very nice greens, fast and smooth, a little hard. Very tough course from the tips. Many forced carries, not only from the tee box but also from the fairway to the greens, very much target golf. But a six hour plus round on a Saturday in BFE???!!! For 90.00???!!! That is ridiculous. There was a small group of horrible golfers in front of our tournament. The marshalls have to move these people along. Also, horrible range, maybe 10 spots and they needed to move the teeing area back as you were hitting of dirt with a lousy lie.

Played 11-6-05. Had a 6:30 tee time and it took almost 5 hours to play, waited on most holes on the front nine, picked up on the back. If it's taking 5 plus to play at 6:30, what's it like at 10? That's where the Marshall's have to earn their keep. Get it moving early, at that time it should be 4 hours max. Course is in good shape, very hard fairways and hard greens. Sand traps were in great shape, to bad I was in so many. If they would drop their green fees ten dollars I would consider this course a good value, as it is, it's just a little high priced for what you get. I don't see much difference between the condition at El Dorado or Rio Hondo. Easy to get a tee time though. A buddy of ours got a 40.00 price from Click for Tee times at 11:00 AM.

Played Saturday, 10/22. Greens were in good shape, rolled nicely and receptive to shots. The fairways in decent shape as well as the sand traps. Tee boxes were in horrible condition, hitting off dirt on many of them. Pace of play slow, teed off at 8:15, did not finish until after one, too long for that early of tee time, especially since their first was at 7 AM. Good value though with a junior, only one dollar for the junior. Very short course, but lots of trees, and tighter fairways with some deeper rough. Front nine is very different than the back nine. Front is very flat, while the back is quite hilly. A fun course.
