Played Sunday 1/13/2019. Fantastic greens, nice fairways, great, challenging layout. I have been playing here for years and it's always a good time. Zipped around in 3 hours, 18 minutes.

Sunday 1PM 11/20/2016. Excellent facility for it's age. Bunkers excellent. Fairways and tee boxes really good.

Greens fast but bumpy when you least expect it.

Start earlier in the day, golfers lollogag here like it was more social event than game...We finished #18 pitch black darkness...glad it was a par three..used cellphone flashlights for tee box and then putting on green.

10/17/2016 Played "Players Combo" from card...pretty cool that all the 175 to 200 yard forced carries are nullified.

I really like this course..the only thing I would change, since GPS and cell service don't work, is to change the "one in five" (or so) sprinklers have yardage to every one one of them have yardage marked...rounds would speed up immeasurably if one didn't have to methodically circle out from one's fairway lie to find a sprinkler head that was ACTUALLY marked.

Someone forgot to mention they punched this week. Played foursome Sunday 5/29. Would have been ABSOLUTELY AWESOME if they had put the nice White sand on the greens from punching, IN THE BUNKERS.....

We found out about the punched greens on approach shots from the sand clouds on the 1st green. Just swell.

"$35" is Eagle Crest language for "gotcha".

10:26 AM 5/30/2016, They just posted "punched"

Played Monday, April 11th, 2016...excellent shape...very flat after playing the Resort Course the day before...Resort course is better.

Greens and fairways are excellent....but beware the 17th because it really does not have a fairway for anyone to hit over 230 yards on a Par 4, 438 yards, downhill then uphill to the Green and straight into the wind. ....you actually MUST hit in the rough and then out to the green...strange. Maybe it's a short Par 5 in disguise?

BTW, the rough is 1.5 inches high.

Played Resort Sunday 4/10/2016. Outstanding course...it's even visually appealing. Greens excellent..not a single bare spot in any fairway. Rough a little long for me but this is the way it's supposed to be.

San Diego/Temecula Valley courses should take greenskeepering lessons....except for Maderas. They don't have any problems there.

Sunday 3/6/2016 NO signs they "punched" the greens 2/23 & 2/24, whatsoever. Hardly anyone braved the rain, that stopped around 12:30 and never game back...an excellent day and an excellent value.

Teed off Noon and finished at 3:15 and we didn't hustle, per se. Greens good. Fairways are growing back and being tended to.

A nice place with a good challenge.

Sunday 2/28 12:40 PM (backed up twenty minutes because of some sort of vanity tournament; should have shotgun started but apparently, they didn't) and finished 5:36 PM. Substantial wait on every tee box. Never seen that here before. Very "Coronado-esque".

Everything is in pretty good shape...some of the greens a little bumpy and on the back nine three greens had some sort of poa annua budding growth thang going on.

Friday 2/26/2016 Excellent course shape. Greens pretty good. Flatter greens are bumpy. Greens don't have nearly as much break (except # 11) as you think they do...no, really.

Great sand. Good day. Some tee box back up until about 2PM

Don't make the mistake I made. "Pin Placement" diagrams on the scorecard have nothing to do with reality. Trust your sight. Took me six holes before I realized this....

I had good fairway lies (50% FIR) all day.

Played 2/21/2016 Sunday. Excellent people and facilities. Green and fairways were outstanding but the rough was a wonderful surprise. Very predictable. What a great experience!

I recommend using moderate bounce on one's wedge from the sand. The sand is wonderful but my 16 degree bounce 54 sand wedge came out too perfectly. I am not used to such perfection.

January 31st, 2016 Course played long but the greens and fairways were perfect.

Now the course played long...wind and lush fairways but the greens were without any blemishes whatsoever. Rolled true. Might be the best this side of PGA West Stadium or Maderas. Easier to read, as a matter of fact.

3 hours, ten minutes.

Hot but really nice. Greens and fairways were really great.

Plenty of potable ICED water on course too. Definitely a well run facility.
