Recently played the newly renovated South Course. It was well done as far as grass, playing surfaces and well manicured greens. The wind will play a factor on most holes. Lots of sand traps near the green and in the fairways to create stimulating challenges. tee box areas are hard . Cart paths take a little time to get use to. Looks like they were still working on them. The only recommendation was the direction from each hole. Need more signs to point you to the correct hole. Overall a great and upcoming venue.

One of the toughest tracks in Nor Cal. Tight fairways outlined by thick grass and shrubs makes accuracy a must on this course. Several tiered greens making putting a dire challenge. Hole 15 is a must do . A split fair way lengthy par 5 with open ravine at the 300 yard mark and before the approach on the green. Course plays longer than the listed yardage. Keep it in the middle and one should do well. Bring extra balls for the weary. Well groomed fairways and nice back drop to a very fine course in the east bay hills.
