This was the first time I've played this course and will definitely return. The layout is very forgiving, but for people willing to take some risks, there are a lot of course management opportunities. If you want to get some extra yards and make nice angles to the green, this course plays more difficult, as I would assume Lee Travino saw in building this course. The safest shots in many of these wide open fairways, bring bunkers into play that surround the green. Having slacked on playing regularly for many years, this was a great setup to calibrate decision making and hit a variety of shots. The rough was impressive, having not seen much in the area. It was a little bumpy in places if you miss the fairway, but the grass is plenty consistent and will offer some good lies. Fairways were great and definitely sped up as the day moved on after our 10:30am start. The sand, while firm and demanded some technical skill, was also surprisingly consistent. The greens were smooth and offered good responsiveness to shots spun into them. Fun course with some great turns getting home

Played down here for the first time today. Thanks in advance for the telling reviews already up! The best way I can describe this course is that it is fun. You can go from tee to green in a variety of way. I haven't hit driver a lot this year as I'm not very polished after several years off, but Haven was just what I needed. Greens are interesting with a lot of movement; Fairways are in great shape and lined by huge trees. Being from Minnesota, bending shots around trees is something you get used to when you get a little overzealous with the Driver. Excellent customer service all around from Clubhouse to Ranger to Striking Cart Woman. Beautiful, Will return
