Played the course for a second time in a week. Golf shop friendly, got off on time. Group in front very slow and Marshal apparently ineffective in increasing pace of play. Sat waiting in cart all round until we just jumped past them. Course was wide open thereafter.
Fairways hard with uneven grass, greens were sanded and had an inconsistent pace to them. Ex- Air Force so used to playing near airplanes and noise was of no moment. The layout is not well thought out and there are too many blind holes. The 18th needs to be reworked as it is unfair. Hit a drive to the left side of the fairway and then a three wood into the green also on left side. Ball hit fairway in front of green and then rolled off the minimal landing area - it is sloped to roll off and there is no way to keep it on the left. Can't put it high and soft greens don't hold either.

With some thought and re-working this could be a fun place to play and a good contrast to flat Torrey Pines.

Cow pasture. Stay away. City neglecting this course. Massive irrigation problems. Worst condition it has ever been in. All resources to Torrey. It will cost them big bucks to recover this place. Greens are so deeply cut they have a ring around them so ball does not roll off in many places. Disgrace.

Enjoyable round of golf. Staff helpful but not intrusive. Always like coming back here.

Temecula Creek. Lovely layout. Good service. Fast greens. Rough needs to brought up. Fast play. Good course to work all your irons. More traps would make entry to the greens more of a challenge. Tee boxes are a mess - need to be moved around more.

Had fun will play here again.

Fairways covered with cut grass. Greens heavily sanded. Rough treated with herbicide to create die out. Traps like concrete. Some parts of fairway swampy with tire ruts. Starter absent. Long lines to pay. Rude, out of control staff. I have never seen a golf course in worst condition or more poorly managed. The good thing was I only paid $25. Senior/resident/mensclub. It wasn't worth even that. Stay away!

Hate 16. They need to fix it if that is possible so it is not so tricked up. Wide open, good practice, decent pace if you are not behind the men's club. Always seems starting tee is backwards placement 10 should be one.

Another JC course. Similar design- water, fairway etc. Greens half sanded and not told. Had a enjoyable round. There is a sameness to JC courses that get predictable.

Have played there three times and think it is every bit as good as Del Mar National or whatever they are calling it nowadays at a third the price. Fairways starting to burn out a little. Fun new venue

a nice comfortable place to play for the mid level golfer or somone like me. this and twin oaks make for a decent test of my skills without placing obstables to my game that are beyond my ability.

greens sanded and aerated; fairways aerated, loose grass all over rough. had to move dirt clods out of way to hit ball on fairways. another gift to the men's club.

Fix it up or close it up. Really in sad shape. Not just water damage it is not being maintained. Not worth the price.
