Got to play here on my vacation to Maui. Got lucky and got the aerated greens rate (last day) of 129 dollars (169 rack rate). The course is very scenic with ocean views on many holes. Even though the greens were aerated 3 weeks ago the ball roll pretty good. If you don’t want to pay 300-400 for the plantation course, this course is really nice for the 100-200 price

Played on august 25 afternoon. After seeing so many bad reviews and hearing from a friend that played here about 5 months ago I didn't have much expectations. Course is actually in good shape. Always loved the layout of the old Robinson ranch so it was a pleasant surprise they haven't changed much of the layout. They added some palm treees here and there, made the course more of a desert layout, and got rid of a lot of shrub making the course alittle easier. Bunkers need some TLC, but the greens are great like the good old days. Will be coming back even though it's a hr and half drive from OC

Second round of the day. Havent played this course in about 8 years. Course condition are alittle above average with greens being alittle slow. Pace of play was about 2 hours (single) with me passing one group. Course has a great layout with lots of variety of holes. One of my favorites in the Palm spring area

just played 18 holes this morning and it was pleasant. Yes, it's not in the best shape golf course in the area, but for the price I paid for ($11) it was good enough. Greens were bumpy , fairways were very patchy, bunkers were alittle thin but I got a full 18 holes in under 2 hrs. The layout of the course isn't overly long and houses that border the course don't really come in play. I really enjoyed the layout, but probably won't play here again with so many options in Palm spring area

Played the course on Feb 6th. Rainy day in southern california which means fast round and cheap online tee times. Never played this course so was excited to play this one. Very nice course which is also challenging. Didnt get much roll on the fairway due to the wet fairways. Saw couple of twosomes on the course so i wasnt the only crazy golfer out there. Rain wasnt to bad the whole day and went away in middle of my round. Course was in great shape and would love to play this course again on a dryer setting

played this course on feb 17th. Got out around 1115 am and was done by 1pm. I only saw two more singles on the course behind me. The heavy rains the weatherman predicted started after my round was over. Course conditon was quite damp and was mainly cart path only on every hole. Still a enjoyable round

Played on Feb 10th. Booked this golf course due to being one of the cheapest golf course online. Didnt know what to expect and saw this course shopping at costco. My first instinct was it was a flat course with no character. Was i wrong. This course was actually pretty good. Lots of different types of holes with rolling fairways and elevation changes. Conditions of the course was above average and it was definetly worth the price i paid or the rack rate. Doesnt have any ocean views but the track itself is very challenging. It winds through a neighborhood but houses arent in play.

Played last week Feb 12th for my honeymoon week. Has to be the most scenic golf course i have played. Oceans views on maybe 7 of the holes, Lakes on maybe 5-6 holes. Course conditions are almost immaculate. Greens are almost putting on carpet. Fairways are better than most california munis. Bunkers were nice and raked and pace of play was about 3 and half hours. Marshalls come around with pineapple slices for the golfers. A must play in the Kauai Islands of Hawaii

Played yesterday 8-13. Escena is always my go to golf course in Palm Springs due to low rates, great conditions and great layout. It never disappoints me. Greens were aerated about a month ago and are completely healed. I think we were the last group out and we teed off at 11 am. Make sure and call if you come late afternoon. Went to Cimmaron golf course around 3 pm and they were closed for the day.

Played today 8-12 afternoon. Got a great discounted rates on Golfnow. I love the layout of this course and even though the last few reviews was really bad I had to see for myself. I received a email this morning from the golf course with one of the fairways being bare(before) and one that is green and lush(after) so that was my main decision to play here today. Didn't see to much of the "after" pictures. There was probably 2-3 holes with new sod that covered only about 30 percent of the hole. I did also see roped areas where they seeded the fairway, So looks like they are putting a effort to make this course green again. Greens were decent but most of them were patchy. Tee boxes were consistenly good but tee markers were moved up. Tee shots were a challenge since you couldn't see where the fairways were. Bunkers were hard pan with large pebbles present. i did enjoy myself but it would be awhile til I comeback.

Not the best maintain course, but the course does have a good layout. Not overly long but it is alittle narrow on some holes. Played 18 holes as a single in about 2 hours and a half today. no cart lady or water coolers around so make sure u have some water.

Play this course 6-13 afternoon. Last time I played here the course had two 18 hole courses. Really like the layout of the course with different type of tee shots that are needed to score well. Greens were surprisingly in good shape and had some speed on the downhill putts. I would think wind is a big factor here being close to the freeway. Pace of play was 3 and half hours with a fivesome letting me pass but got behind two slow seniors. Really enjoyed the day of golf and will play this course more often due to many cheap tee times online
