Course is still as beautiful as ever and in terrific shape. They were one of the few courses that over seeded this year and it shows. Just beautiful views and this morning the weather was perfect, no wind at all and for $40 you can't beat it.

Course is in great shape, guess they are getting ready for the Northern Trust qualifier. Fairways are real nice except 18 and that's because of the d%mn coots. I sure wish the marshals knew what they were doing at times, one came and told us to speed up but we told him that we were waiting 2-3 minutes on shots for the group ahead of us and to back off and go talk to them. Never saw him again after that. I will be back as this is one of my favorite courses and play it 2-3 times a month.

My first time at this course and if I go back will be a lot later this year. Fairways dormant and run out. Realized you need to 1 or 2 less club so the ball doesn't run off the fairway and into the arroyos as their is no difference from fairway to rough, Fast and smooth, the fairways were faster than the greens. For seniors a $40 green fee would be fine but not worth the $55 they charge.

course is a okay, just need more consistency on green speed. Fast, then slow. then maybe fast again then medium. Can't get a decent speed or rhythm going. Fairways hard but I guess that is due to winter weather.

Teed off this morning at 7:15 and finished around 11:30. Course is in great shape. Greens look bad but are really smooth and fast, about 10 on the stimp according to starter but I bet closer to 12. You had to stay below the hole. Wind made the course a little harder than normal but not that much, wind was steady. I would put this course on par with Goose Creek and for $40 will be back soon.

Still no sand in the bunkers. I have had better lies in the rough at good courses than the lies you get here in the fairways. Course has really gone down hill. Maybe in the summer it will come back, that's when I will.

Played today 1/5 in a nice 4 hour pace. Not sure what was wrong with the greens, no consistency at all, some slow, some fast, looks like they were punched a week or so ago and haven't been mowed, very fuzzy.

I guess if you are running a course owned by a city in this economy the course is not going to be very well kept. Even the fairways that had a good slant on them were muddy and bare of grass. Our group repaired 4 or 5 ball marks each on the greens, (we were following 4 groups of asians that just did not repair their marks and they were also playing from the blues. That can wait until a different post on speed of play) Overall an a ok day, after all, I was playing golf. HAPPY NEW YEARS

Played today 12/8. Course is in good shape except they did not overseed and the fairways are hard and little rough. A lot of drives rolled through the fairway so a 3 wood would be a better choice. Putted a few times from 20' off the green.

Not quite a 3 1/2 hour round so pace was nice. Walked the course and found the fairways to be hard and grass going away, maybe it's the weather. I still say all they need is to put sand in the bunkers and the course would be perfect.

Course is going backwards. Don't know what grass they are using in the rough but it reminds me of old El Rancho Verde. The grass grows in big clumps and if the ball gets in front of a clump you can't get your club on the ball. Now the rough around the greens is a different story, why they have it 5" or better I have no clue. Takes 5 min or more to find your ball if you ever do. Now the restaurant, hey guys, get the girl some help. Noon, 12 tables full and they have 1 girl taking the orders, tending bar, and cleaning the tables. Management, get a permanent bartender. Oh yeah, cart path only for a while due to the heavy rain damage that they received on Sunday. Heavy rain???

Went out today and what a great surprise. They have this course in top notch condition. Greens were lightning fast but what was really nice were the bunkers. I was in 3 of them and got up and down twice. They all had nice soft sand, YES, sand. It sure is nice instead of dirt or nothing like most courses have. I will definitely being going back.
