This course is absolutely worth the green fee. It is in the middle of nowhere but everything about the course is top notch!!! The practice facility is first rate!!The course is challenging but fair. It is a desert course so make sure to keep the ball in play. Even though this is a desert course there is a lot of water on the course. The greens, sand traps, and tee boxes were phenomenal. The fairways were bare in some spots but that was becuase they recently did the vertical cut but you could see the recovery was coming

I strongly recommend this course and think everyone should give it a shot. Yes, it is in the middle of nowhere but your golf experience will be just reward. This is an outstanding course!!

I played the 500 Club on a Friday afternoon. I didn't know that they had punched the greens within the past week so they hadn't completely recovered. The fairways were a little bare in some places but it wasn't too bad. The course is recovering from normal maintenance and will be in great shape soon, i have no doubt. The sand traps were inconsistent, one would be hard the next would be soft, this was very frustrating!!

The cart girl came around a few times and overall the service was very good.

I played TPC Stadium Course during a GK Play Day even on Monday May 21. The course was in GREAT shape, even though it was 106 outside. The practice facility is a little out of the way but is in pristine condition.

There were a number of fairways that had a lot of sand on them but it didn't impact play at all. The sand in the bunkers was outstanding, although most of the bunkers are very deep, so try to avoid them.

There is alot of water, more than you would expect in the middle of the desert, so make sure you know your yardage and control those shots. The greens were true and while the rough is thick, the desert gets you because there are a lot of trees.

The staff was outstanding. Cart girl came around 3 or 4 times during our round and the ranger was around with ice towels (did I mention it was 106) multiple times as well.

I strongly recommend this course to everyone!!!

I played a Saturday afternoon round on April 7 and while the course is nice the length of the round was about 5 hours. We teed off following a couple of tournaments and the course just was not able to recover. I have played this course other times and have been able to get through a round in 4 hours or less so don't be scared off. The practice facility is outstanding however the driving range was pretty chewed up. The course was in good shape. The greens were hard and fast but there seemed to be a bit of fungus. The fairways and rough were in very good shape. The cart person came by 3 times which was nice.

We played the Blue Tees which measured over 6800 yards and the course was challenging. You can't just "grip it and rip it" but you have to pay attention to creeks that bisect fairways, bunkers in the landing areas, and water on the course. It is an outstanding course and I strongly recommend it to everyone.

I played Copper Canyon on Friday April 6 and the course was ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE!!! The fairways, sand traps, rough, greens, driving range, you name it it was in absolutely PERFECT shape. The only downside is that the course is a ways outside of town and seems like a bit of a drive. I can't recommend this course enough, it is an absolute hidden gem and should be played if you get a chance.

Outstanding course!!! The course winds through a very exclusive community but the houses don't really come in to play... The course was in outstanding shape... There are a lot of dog leg holes with short par 5's that are difficult to attack... The Par 3's aren't very long but the greens are difficult... Number 14 is a driveable par 4 but you have to go over some very large trees and cut the corner, it's tougher than it looks... Number 15 is an elevated Par 3 that give great views of the valley... The Links course will force you to play golf, not just grip it an rip it... The sand is very, very soft so if you get in there, expect it to plug... Great course, well worth the green fee...

This is an outstanding course.... The course is self contained with some very large houses around the perimeter... It is offers some challenging holes with lots of mature trees... There is a little bit of water but not too much... The sand is very, very soft, so don't expect any bounce... The cart girl came by about 3 or 4 times during the round... the only downside is the range was a little small because they had a lot of it blocked off... also to get to the range you have to drive past the first tee box which means to get back to the first tee you have to drive the cart back to the tee box as people may be teeing off right at you - so pay attention... this course is definitely worth the green fee...

Played 18 holes in 3 hours!! This course is not intertwined in houses and has some really good golf holes. There are a lot of holes where water may come in to play and require some good golf shots. The greens are in pretty good shape but there are some ball marks but it's not too bad.

The rough is pretty bad. Like most Az courses, only the fairways are overseeded, so there are a lot of bare spots. Also, the sand was TERRIBLE!!! It was like hitting off of a parking lot.

This course has A TON of potential and is worth the green fee. Just make sure to manage your expectations before going out.

This course is OUTSTANDING. It is not very long and is pretty flat but it is LOADED with mature, full trees that create lots of problems if you miss the fairways. This is not a desert course by any stretch. The fairways are in good shape and the greens are very good, slow but good. The course plays completely different when you play the blues. On the front 9 there are two Par 3's, one is very long and the other is about 140 yards completely over water. (I spoke with the owner of the course and he said they pulled 6,200 balls out of the water over a 6 month period.)

The driving range could use some work but there are three practice greens, two for chipping and one for putting. The pro shop isn't real big but the service is outstanding and there is an ice/water machine available for all.

I have never paid more than $43 to play this course and it is a GREAT value for the money. Even though Sun City is a retirement city the pace of play is very good. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite courses and I would recommend to EVERYONE.

Supposed to tee off at 9:12a, the Monday after X-mas but didn't tee off until after 9:30a. The round was terribly long because it appeared that the group in front of me was getting some type of playing lesson - there was a marshall but he didn't do ANYTHING to push the pace at all. Also, the course just got a new fleet of golf carts so there was no GPS. Finally, the cart girls cart was broken so, although we saw her a few times throughout the round, she wasn't very well stocked.

All in all the course was in pretty good shape. Greens were extremely fast and the bunkers were pretty good. As with most Az courses this time of year, the rough was dormant but the fairways were well kept. The course has some challenging holes and some of the pin placements were obnoxious (a few pins were placed on the ridges on the green). There are a number holes that will not only challenge you to hit it long or hit it smart. There is plenty of water on the course that will also make you think twice about "going for it".

Course is good and worth playing but know that it is intertwined with houses. The cost was reasonable, $57 included a small bucket of balls. The driving range was pretty bad but putting green was OK. I'll play there again.

I drove all the way from Phoenix AZ to participate in the GK event and I was not disappointed!!! Walking up to the course is a sight in of itself, with the huge GREEN range with the club logo at the top of the hill.

We played Canyon and Ridgeline adn both were immaculate. The course is challenging but fair. Elevated tee boxes on every hole with fairways that require control. If you miss the fairways scoring will be high. The greens were soft and definitely true. The greenside bunkers are very, very soft, while the fairway bunkers were pretty firm.

I strongly recommend this course and will definitely play again!!!

Played on Sunday July 10. The course was in immaculate shape. The fairways a very good but there is no rough - this is a true desert course. There are many fairway bunkers so you will have make sure you get the right club for the right distance. The greens are true and not nearly as fast as they look.

One bad thing about the fairways - at least on the day I played - is that they were watering adn so the fairways had some places that were too wet.

On the first tee was yardage books that are very, very helpful so don't pass them up. Cart girl came around regularly and the pace of play was good.

If your ball goes into the desert I don't recommend looking for too long. Besides having lots of little bushes there are "critters" (snakes, lizards, rabbits, etc.) all around the course.

Great course and will play again!!
