I came back for the second time...the first time was December of 1998 so it's been a while. Played this morning 9/13.. The only hole I remembered was the Signature Par 3. This may become my favorite course, played with 3 guys I didn't know and actually were not very good golfers but had a great time. The course is in pristine condition, except for some of the greens which resembled the moon with so many ball marks on them. The fairways are great the ball sits up nice, the tees are in great shape. I played the Blues and found that I was lucky to have a person in the 4 some that know the course well.

The track is very challenging and you have to bump it out there to have mid iron in to some very well trapped greens having a lot of undulation. My only complaint is that the speed would vary from green to green. Although some of that could be my fault. If I could have putted today I would have been dangerous.

The course is spectacular and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Like I said this course could become my favorite next to Oak Valley, but it's a long drive from Palmtucky.

What can you say but a good track. Not great but a good track and IMO @ 111.00 on Friday grossly overpriced.

Fairways were spotty and burned, greens had way to many unrepaired ball marks for my liking. There are much better courses here in So Cal for less money.

The course is challenging and I have seen it in much better condition, you would think that a GC owned by the biggest university in Washington could afford more water. A couple of gimmick holes kind of take the gild off the lily but it's fun to play and has a couple of Risk/Reward holes.

Great track and always in good condition. Staff very nice and helpful. They have played the Publinx Am here in 2009 and that was the last time I had played it. Shot 71 from the blues with a double bogie on the first hole. Unconscious would describe that round.

The is a great test, using every club in your bag and then some. The fairways and greens were immaculate but a few of the tees could have used some work. The holes are challenging and the greens were running pretty quick.

Generous landing areas are nice but you really need to play this course more than once to understand where your tee shot should be. Par 3's are stout but you can score.

My favorite hole is the 17th, which starts with a down hill tee shot to fairly narrow landing area, OB left and water on the right for the long hitters. Your second shot is a mis to long iron or hybrid to a long narrow green with trouble left and a hill right. Don't be above the hole.

Facility is nice, pro shop has everything, I even bought a new driver. Practice facility is what you would expect from a facility of this caliber and nary 1 house spoiling your enjoyment.

Played this last Wednesday. I played this course when it initially opened back in the early 90's.

Was a fun course to play, quiet and always in great condition as it was built on a gravel pit. This time, houses, houses houses, burned fairways, gravel in the traps and the greens were so slow that it was nigh almost unputtable. They've ruined a good golf course

I broke all speed records to get home and get this review posted. This golf course is in outstanding condition considering the recent weather. I had a 0648 tee time but was able to get out earlier. Played by myself and finished in 2.75 hrs.

I swore the last time I played here it would be my last. Our cart broke down and it took 50 minutes to get another one.

Anyway all is forgiven. The Tee's, Fairways and Greens are in tournament condition. I was amazed at how great the course looked. I have played this course at least a couple of times a year since its opening and this is the best I have seen it. Paid $52 which I think is more than fair.

I played the Blue Tees and there's not a lot of roll off the tee but there is some. The greens are so receptive that you can throw the ball at the hole and it will check up. The greens are virtually free of ball marks which is unusual for a muni. I fixed a few from the guy's in front of me. Fixing your ball marks is just good manners and those that don't.....well, a topic for another time.

I had some trouble reading short putts more than longer ...not as fast as say Valencia CC but don't be above the hole as I was several times. The rough is 2-3 inches and demands a good smite to get it out but you hit a bad shot to be there.

The views of the Inland Empire from some of the tees and greens is breathtaking and I mean that literally as the layer of smog was very pronounced but when it's clear the views are spectacular.

The 8th hole is a gorgeous Par 3 with an elevated tee, water in front and the green is framed by cattails. Very picturesque..

The 18th holes is a good finishing hole @ 424 with a good chance for birdie. Elevated tee to a very generous landing area leaving you a mid to long iron or hybrid to a very large green that slopes from back to front.

The course plays 6292 from the Blues with a 70.8 and 132 slope. Not too long but lots of up hill shots. And having played the course before is a plus.

The starter was very friendly and when I asked what kind of shape the course was he said "you tell me". The cart guy as well as the grounds crew were very friendly. There is a restaurant on site.

If you haven't played this course before put it on your list! Very challenging and fun.

Played a Tournament at The Country Club Soboba Springs last Sunday.

It's been several years since I last played this course. Many things have changed and all for the better. The nines have been reversed and the greens are wonderful.

The fairways are lush, the ball sits up, the greens are very receptive to a good shot and putt fantasically. They play a Web.com tour event here. I wish I could putt on these greens all the time because the ball tracks so beautifully. Rough is growing up but is not penal. The tee's are in good shape.
One thing I did notice is that where I used to hit a wedge to the green, I'm now hitting 1 or 2 clubs more.

The par 5's are challenging and are reachable in 2 for the longer hitters. The par 3's are a nice mix from 122 yards to over 200.

Three sets of tees make it fun for all levels of golfers. We played a tournament round in 4hours and 20 minutes so the pace of play is just right. I wish this course was closer to my home, I'd become a member.

They have great food and the staff go out of their way to accomodate you and are very friendly. This course is about 5 miles east of Hemet right at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains.

I rated this course as a cow pasture a couple of years ago. Subsequently it has new ownership in the past year. The new owners have put some money into this course since taking it over, grass on the driving range, another set of tees, the fairways are in great condition and the greens have improved. Some of the traps could use more sand but that's prettymuch the only complaint.

While not the most difficult track around, it is fun to play if you don't feel like driving and hour to play a different track.

Been playing this course since it opened. There are 2 courses here and the Valley, in my opinion is the better test.

From the minute the cart crew brings your cart to your car until you finish, Robinson Ranch makes you unserstand that your not at your local Muni.

I generally play Friday's with a good friend of mine and we play from the "Black" Tee's and @ 7000 yards it's a stout test. I have read, people complaining about the rough and balls running through the fairways etc. It takes a couple of rounds to understand the nuances of Robinson Ranch.

The farways and greens are nice, with a few burned spots in the fairway. I have spent the last 2 years in Turkey and with recession, it's taking it's toll on a lot of courses including the Ranch. The course is one that makes you think and you play every club in your bag. Plus it's a different course from every set of tee's. Penalizes you for a bad shot as all good courses should do.

Holes 13 thru 17 are known as DeathValley. The 13th is a 596 yard par 5, trapped and treed on both sides but a drive and a good second shot leaves you wedge to the green and a potential par.

The 14th is a 236 yrd par 3. The prevailing wind is from left to right and you have to stand on your tee shot. Two tiered green. Par is tough to get.

The 15th is a dogleg left to another 2 tiered green. You really have to smoke one off the tee to put it in the middle of the fairway and the greens is well trapped. Trees and "Clag" as my English friend calls it line the fairway. Good hole.

16 can be attacked either using a driver or three wood off the tee, the prevailing wind is in your face, the green is long and narrow, sloping from back to front and don't be long or right as water and traps line the green. Par is a good score here.

17 is my favorite hole. Big sweeping dogleg left and the tee shot is through a copse of Live Oaks. Need to smoke one with a slight draw, 2nd shot to a 2 tiered green.

Robinson Ranch Valley Course is as good a track as you'll find. The staff is outstanding and they have Stella Artois on tap and that my friends is as good as it get's!!

Played this course @0815 on August 5th. HOT is the key word here. Met by the starter, after warming up, on the first tee. He related that there were 4 foresomes ahead and I would be better of playing the back first. Asked what my index was and said to play the Hybrid 18. This consists of some holes played from the white and some played from the blues.

I play almost exclusively @ Robinson Ranch Valley course from the black tee's so length doesn'y bother me. WOW, was I fooled, I came with visions of tearing this course up! The Pete Dye design makes you see things that aren't there and totally miss thangs that are.

The fairways are well bunkered and the rough between 3-5" is tough to get out of and also makes finding a wayward tee shot difficult. Not knowing the course makes it even more diffcult because you can hit what you think is a perfect drive only to find yourself either in a bunker or with no shot to the green.

The Par 3's are stout some 180-195 in length and bailout areas are at a premium. The 17 th hole, where Trevino make his famous skins game hole in one, was playing to 148 from an elevated tee and bascially was the easiest all day. I was playing by myself with my wife as my wingman so pace of play was not a problem. She did notice that I seemed agitated and rushed. I told her that I was concentrating and it was so freaking hot 104 @ 0930. She told me to slow down which ended up being good advice as I began to play better.

In some respects, this golf course is very tough even with your "A" game but it is fun to play and I wonder how I would do if the temperature was 25-30* cooler?

The Pro shop staff couldn't have been nicer and helpful and the cart guy's and starter were great. I played this course on a package with unlimited golf and stayed at the Lodge. OBTW, the 18th hole is a great finishing hole and I made birdie from the Blues' to shoot 78!

Mountain Course at Lowe's Ventana Canyon. This resort has 2 18 hol courses, The Canyons and the Mountain.
My preference is the Mountain 18. TheThis 18-hole golf course, designed by famed Tom Fazio, is built around the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, and features the famous 100-yard par 3 signature hole # 3. What you get is a classic desert-style, target course, the Mountain has many changes in elevation and several elevated tees. Putting is a challenge because the greens are undulating and typically fast. The fairways are lush and wide enough to make it enjoyable from all tee's. Typically the desert course will burn in the summer but not Ventana.
A little disappointed in the tee's, particularly #3 lots of unfilled divots and grass was shaggy. This is a thinking man's course from the back tee's. The staff is very friendly except for the crone at the snack shop.... We typically play 36 holes so seeing the course twice really makes you study the condition and palyability. One of my favorite Tucson courses.

Played our usual 7 rounds of golf at 4 different courses through Tucson Golf. THere are 3 players and we stay in a condo on Golf Club at Vistoso, get a free meal, 4 nights lodging for $675. I have the info so send me a message, been doing it for 5 years. First Class all the way.

Played the Coyote and Roadrunner course. Great track, excellent practice facility and a very challenging 18 holes. Few burned spots, greens were excellent. We play from the Gold Tee's and it gives you all you can handle. The Beverage cart needs to come around more often, but you can have anything from onsite made margarita's to soft drinks. In the 5 years we've played here we have never had to wait.

A waste of a good dairy farm. This course is a disgrace...Poor teeing areas, fairways are spotty and the greens are terrible. The staff acts like they are doing you a favor. The food is mediocre and very expensive and the 9oz. beers for $5 are a joke. The pratice facilty is a joke...
