PLAYED 4/16 TEED OFF AT 7AM PLAYED THE FRONT 9 IN 2 HOURS NEVER HAD TO WAIT TO HIT A SHOT. WHEN WE GOT TO 10 THE STARTER PUT A 5SM IN BETWEEN US AND THE 4SM THAT WAS IN FRONT OF US 1 PLAYER RIDING AND 4 WALKING AND THEY ONLY HAD 3 SETS OF CLUBS. SO THE BACK NINE TURNED INTO A 3+ HOUR NIGHTMARE. WHEN I ASKED THE STARTED HE DIDN'T ANYTHING TO SAY HE JUST PLAYED THE &ssh*le CARD. BESIDES THAT THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE.
Played 3/20 with Chappy23us. Teed off at 7:14 and it was great never waited to hit a shoot and thats as a 2sm. Like he said the course is in great shape from tee to green. I got to play the other 9 holes on the South course and they are as good as the other 9nz. Playing again this week early remember if you want to play fast round tee off early.
PLAYED 2/24 TEED OFF AT 6:38 PLAYED 18 IN 4 1/2 HOURS. COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE FROM TEE TO GREENS. YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH THIS COURSE YOU JUST NEED TO GET OUT EARLY OR LIKE ANY PUBLIC COURSE IN SOCAL EXPECT A SLOW ROUND OF GOLF.
PLAYED 3/8 TEED OFF AT 6:22AM WAITED ON THE FIRST TEE AFTER THAT WE NEVER HAD TO WAIT. PLAYED 18 IN 4 HOURS WALKING. GREENS WHERE IN GREAT SHAPE AND ROLLED WELL. FAIRWAYS WHERE ALSO IN GREAT SHAPE. I WOULD GIVE THE TEES AND TRAPS A 8. GREAT COURSE WITH VIEWS OF THE OCEANS. YOU NEED TO GET OUT EARLY ON THIS COURSE OR EXPECT A 5+ ROUND. WAS REALY LOOKING FORWARD TO PLAY THIS COURSE AGAIN AFTER 2 YEARS BECAUSE OF THE DRIVE IT'S JUST A SHAME THAT WE PLAYED SO BAD!!!!!
PLAYED WITH CHAPPY COURSE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE FROM TEE TO GREENS. PACE OF PLAY WAS GOOD SINCE WE WHERE THE 3RD GROUP OUT. IF YOUR NOT A WALKED TO BETTER RIDE THEN WE WALKED AND ITS A b$tch TO WALK THIS COURSE LOTS OF HILLS. GREAT COURSE AND WITH THE 25 FEE YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.
PLAYED 1/29 TEED OFF AT 6:52 IT WAS COLD BELOW 40 COURSE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE NOT AS GRENN AS YOU WOULD THINK WITH ALL THE RAIN WE HAVE HAD. THE COLD WEATHER TURNS THE GRASS IN A LIGHT GREEN AND BROWN COLOR WHICK MAKES FOR SOME GOOD ROLL ON THE FAIRWAYS. GREENS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE AND ROLL TRUE. IT'S THE GREENS THAT WILLMAKE YOU COME BACK TO THIS COURSE. YOU WILL NOT FIND A FLAT GREEN ON THIS COURSE. CAN WAIT TO PLAY THIS COURSE IN THE SUMMER BECAUSE THE GREENS WILL BE THAT HARDES GREENS TO PUT ON IN THE AREA. ALL IN ALL A GREAT COURSE FOR THE MONEY AND LIKE EVERY COURSE GET OUT EARLY AND YOU WILL ENJOY A 4 HOUR ROUND. GET OUT AFTER 8:30 ON ANY PUBLIC COURSE AND YOUR LOOKING AT A 5+ HOUR ROUND, GET OUT BEFORE THE HACKERS AND GOLFERS THAT THINK THEY ARE GOLFERS.
PLAYED FRIDAY 1/15 WALKED OFF THE FIRST TEE BOX AT 6:38 WAITED ON 1 AND 3 AFTER THAT WE NEVER HAD TO WAIT. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY UNDER 5 HOURS GET YOUR ASS UP EARLY AND TEE OFF EARLY DON'T BLAME ANY COURSE FOR LONG ROUNDS. WE PLAYED ONE 5+ ROUND LAST YEAR. COURSE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE FROM TEE TO GREEN. WAS IN TWO TRAPS AND THEY WHERE FINE. IF WE CAN JUST GET THESE PEOPLE TO FIX DIVOTS AND RAKE THE TRAPS.
Played 12/30 Course is in great shape. For the most part the tees are in good shape fairways are great and roll forever. With the dormant rough and deep green fairways the course looks great right now. Was only in one trap and had a great lie with soft feeling sand. Greens are in great shape and hard. They roll true and you must hit it on the right tear or you will be 3 putting ever green. Now as for all the carry and blind shoots yes you will have alot of them so use the GPS as much as possible. Take a look at the black tees on number 11 285 carry to the fairway!! Very helpful young man in the club house and cart person. Starter came to get us from the range to tee off what you would expect from a top end golf course. A must play more then once because once you get to your ball after you tee off or hit your second shot you can see just how much more aggressive you could of been. Look forward to playing this course again and again. Hit driver on 8 you will be left with less then 200 yards to a par 5 let it fly on this hole!!
11/17 SECOND GROUP OUT. COURSE IS IN GREAT SHAPE FAIRWAYS ARE GREEN AND ROLL WELL TRAPS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE NOW THE GREENS DON'T LOOK AT THAT GREAT BUT THE ROLL TRUE AND ARE FAST. THE ONLY COMPLAIN IS IF YOU MISS THE GREENS LEFT OR RIGHT GRASS IS PATCHY THINK GRASS AND SHORT DRY GRASS. OVER ALL A GREAT COURSE FOR THE MONEY
11/5 TEED OFF AT 6:38 WE NEVER WAITED TO HIT A SHOT ALL DAY WE FINISHED AT 10:40. COURSE IS IN GREAT SHAPE TEE BOXES WHERE GOOD, FAIRWAYS ROLLED OK A FEW WET SPOTS, TRAPS HAD JUST THE RIGHT AMOUT OF SAND, AND GREENS ROLLED TRUE THEY COULD OF BEEN A LITTLE FASTER. JUST LIKE ANY OTHER COURSE GET OUT EARLY AND YOU TO CAN PLAY 18 IN LESS THEN 5 HOURS ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
10/23 Played with chappy. Course was in good shape over all. Some of the best greens around when it comes to roll and speed. Some of the tees where in bad shape they need to move some of the tee boxes to give the areas being used time to recover. Great lay out some very tricky holes here and some very simple holes here. A must play if your looking to work on some of your shots.
Played 10/26 First group out maybe thats why the range was still not open. I just wish the starter would of said something since the range is about a mile away from the club house, well maybe not a mile but down the ramp pass the 10th tee pass the grounds keeper area pass the 1st tee. This is a links style course with lots of blind shots with lots of waste land if you don't hit in the right direction. Course is in great shape the fairways are thin and roll alot. Greens are in great shape and roll true. Traps have real white sand and easy to play out of. I've played here before and will play here again even if it is a 68 mile drive one-way. I would say it's the best course in that area and the staff is great even with the mess up about the range.
