emerald isle again... 2-15-09

decent round...   left early,  but got stuck behind a mother/father/son threesome that was waaaaaaaay   slooooooooooow....

not a lot of golf ettiquette (LET ME PLAY THROUGH!) on this course...  but I take if for what it is and just use the wait for more relaxing time...  

eventually the guys ahead of and behind me turned into a threesome and we settled into a nice pace - two and a half hours to walk 18 isn't bad...

I fit well into the middle of the group of us, the other two guys being 180 degree opposites of a guy with a  decent game with some confidence and a guy who just couldn't stop beating himself up over every little thing....

turns out that mr. gloom and doom put it pin high and birdied from four feet on 17... only one of the round, go figure...

course played well - oddly the greens seemed a little hard and fast after all the rain we've had here...
