Old, ghetto irons that I need to replace next year

When I drive, I slice almost every single time. I haven't quite figured out how to aim my iron shots. My short game is horrible. I rarely make a putt I'm proud of. But every once in a while, I hit a ball that sounds, feels, and looks right that lands very close to where I wanted it to...and that's the reason I continue to play. I suppose that's a cheesy metaphor for life. Even when it seems like nothing is going right, every once in a while, the good Lord throws in an encouragement to keep you going. I like golf. I like the challenge and reality that I can always get better, I like spending time with friends on the course, I like the solitude, I like the silence, I like the focus, I like the need to overcome frustration, and I like the sensation of success that, while rare, is powerful.
