Played here a couple of weeks ago and I actually liked the layout of the course. I was a little disappointed when I called and asked if they had punched or anything like that and they said no but when I got there they are replacing all the grass around the greens (basically the fringe). So I thought if I had asked a question about that they would have said no but we are doing work around the greens. Also basically at every par 3 were about 5 workers working on this so that was a bit of a distraction. They acknowledged when I got to the tee and stopped and moved out of the way but still a little nerve wrecking. I went out by myself and talked to the starter for a few minutes and he said they had replaced the greens about a year ago. I thought they were deceptively fast, I had a hard time judging the speed. This is a course that I don't think the rough will scare you as most everything is in play here except for a few areas. Fairways were in good shape and so were the tee boxes. On the back 9 the wind did pick up quite a bit which caused the course to play more difficult. I played the back tees and that was a stern test. I noticed a lot of women out here and thought the course had a good amount of tees so that it was playable for both men and women. The rack rate is $75ish and I think there are probably better deals in the area but when the course is back in shape it will be a better value.
