played 9 holes in 1:40 casual walking

Well I got bored this afternoon watchin the PGA play off today and didnt have a lot of time to play , so I went over to the "Village" and walked right on , no wait. Got paired up with a nice young lady and her teenaged son , so it was just a 3some. It was a little cloudy and a little windy but not bad , Great day to walk a short one. I have never played this course before and I got to tell ya , I was very pleased with the course .
It was neat and clean, well groomed nice green fairways .Only a couple of places where there was mud roped off with "keep off signs" from the last week of rain storms.Nice tree lined par 4's (3 of them) and well placed bunkers guarding the par 3's(6) . Water plays on the 2nd and 3rd . The green held the shots pretty good ,but it seemed the cups were cut right on top of a pitchers mound type of greens,but only a few. The Snack shop was open and had a nice selection to choose from . The girl was very nice , and for the most part , all the people seemed friendly . The price was $20 bucks /with a pull cart for 9 holes on a Sunday .Not too bad . Great little hide away course to play a quick 9 . Better than hittin practice balls in the back yard .
