Played on 8/21/10, the course is the best I've seen a lot of years... perhaps in part to a celebrity tournament... I know there was at least 3 ex-NFL players... one was Jerry Rice... the other 2 are also big names but I'm not a football fan so the names elude me. I don't know how long the course will be kept up in this condition but definitley a great time to play this course. With a tournament in front of us I thought it would play really slow plus it was a Saturday... it did take a little over 5 hours to play but it was one of the smoothest 5 hour rounds I've played... we didn't have to wait on any tees and the group in back of us lagged back enough that they never waited on us or pressed us... we were in a perfect window. A small mishap that occurred was in the proshop... the computers went down... a number of golfers were upset because they couldn't check or make tee times, they couldn't even sell range balls... and another tournament going off later were not happy that they couldn't hit a warm up bucket. Even with running a bit behind, it was still one of the best rounds I've had there because the course was in great shape... we liked it so much that we're trying to get a tee time for this Saturday, a little late in the week to get one but I'm hoping that we will get lucky on a cancelation. I'm hoping that they try to keep this course up to these conditions... if they can do it for a special event they have the ability to do it all the time.
