Played today, 6:45 tee time. Lot's of players out early to beat the heat. We got out within 10 min of our tee time. Started out slow, but pace picked up, we finished in 4 hrs. I would like to commend Mr Pine, one of the marshals out there, he was courteous, helpful, and friendly. One of the best I have ever come across, born on Oahu, gave us the rules for handicap carts (by driver has OCPD, which limits walking), kept the pace going without taking advantage of his position, real pleasure to deal with. Course was in good conditon, greens were receptive, but firm and rolled well. Some brown areas on fairway but due to low cutting, not dried out. A few ball marks (so what's new), some unsanded divots. Fun outing. Last 4 holes the heat started to get bad, 101* when we left the parking lot. We stayed hydrated.
