Buddy of mine took me there. Quirky design. Tees had a lot of bare sports. Fairways
ranged from very good to fair. Lots of small bare spots. Greens had just been plugged and sanded, but were somewha... Continue »

I have played this course a few times over the last month. It is 10 minutes from my house so that is the convenience. It is open and under new ownership. I have not played many courses, so do not really know what to set the bar at, per say. I can say that the course is in better condition than it pr...

Well, if you didn't use that punch shot on #15, you'll probably need it on this average length par 3. The large oak trees guarding both sides of the approach overhang so far that there is only about a ten foot opening in the canopy. Truly a sucker shot. the best approach is to punch it up to the green and depending on pin placement, a birdie may still be possible. Beware the sand guarding the front left and the water behind the green if you airmail it.

Probably the quirkiest hole on the course. Unless you are very long off the tee, you won't be able to reach the "level" part of the fairway. Therefore your drive will have to be left up the side of a hill and then roll down to the fairway adn hopefully stop short of the trees on the right side. If you go up the hill to the fairway for #3, you have to content with a large oak tree blocking your access to the green. Finally, the two-tiered large green has numerous subtle breaks. Take par and run to the next hole.
