A disappointment to arrive at the course and find the greens to be in the aeration process. No information when tee times were made. I understand it was a last minute decision because of the weather change(?).
We were offered the opportunity to cancel without the normal cancellation fee. Nice offer, but we came to play golf.
Fees could have been adjusted or future play for a reduced fee could have been offered.
Could and will be a nice course. Please communicate with us!

Also, beware...they say they charge $25 for each person who no shows in your party. So, if you make a time for four and only three show, they're gonna charge you $25 for the person who didn't show. ... Continue »

We ran into same problem as last post re aeration. Made our tee time only a week ago. We always ask if they're punching and were told no when we made the time. Then we arrived at the course to find out they'd punched on 9/27 and 28. BUT, only way we found out was the proshop guy was writing a huge note to employees on a card to tape over the phone presumably so they could tell people they'd just punched (they won't be overseeding this year). In any case, proshop counter guy said "not the thing you wanted to hear, huh?" DUH! We had guests from Germany who are used to playing Riveria, etc. Embarrassing! In any case, no way they should be charging full rate. Greens were punched with 3/4 inch holes and completely covered with sand AND fertilizer. In any case, we were stuck, and screwed! After our round, we went in to politely complain and suggest they should do something to make it worth our while to return. Counter guy in proshop could have cared. His response was "what are we supposed to do? Call every person who made a tee time?" They claim they punched short notice cuz of the sudden change in weather? Uh, watch the weather channel! In any case, got nowhere with guy in proshop BUT, luckily, there was one person in the clubhouse who understands something about customer service. Head of Ops popped out of his office and apologized profusely. And, get this, invited us all back to play on Monday for free! Right on! We were very polite in our complaint. Politely told them we have our choice of courses to play and that we chose to come to their course, only to find substandard conditions. Conditions they weren't even going to warn us about before we teed off! Also told them we post on this site and that it wouldn't be to their advantage to have people bad mouthing the course on this site. So, free golf on monday! Although I'd wait 3 weeks or so to pay to play here til the greens recover. Funny thing though...greens have always been rock hard here (new course problem) and didn't hold anything. Today everything stuck! Course, most of the greens looked more like sand traps. They really poured on the sand and fertilizer. Hope I don't come down with some weird disease from the chemicals!

Played today 9/29. Course is being aerated!!! Got my tee time 2 wks ago and ask about aeration because my friend is in town for a special round. They said no plans to punch the greens on or before my date. Arrived at the course & the clerk said they punched the greens Monday (27th) but had been sanded and were not bad....we got out there and they were horrible, not only punched, but loaded with fertilizer, constantly being watered, and they had a sweeper running over half the greens as we approached. Bad experience, especially since I had checked before I chose this course for a special time with a friend I hadn't seen in 3 years! I was totally embarrased! How can a golf course charge for a round when you end up playing in a total maintance situation? Plus why didn't they let you folks know the condition of the course so your clients would know, I checked at the end of last week for your alert.

The course was in very good condition, the greens were fast and true. While the pace of play was slowed by some inexperenced golfers we will play it again. The only bad taste was left by the single that was put in our threesom who was using his cell phone all the time until we had to remind him that the golf course was not the office.

Some friends had said the course was "boring," "not worth the price," etc. but I was impressed. It has a nice variety of tees to accommodate players of all levels, the ball actually RUNS on the fairways due to lack of gopher-caused humps and bumps, no clumps of kikuyu, etc. Greens are still a bit hard and don't hold the ball well, but that's to be expected on such a new course. A very nice clubhouse and restaurant facility, plus polite and helpful staff, made this a very pleasant day of golf!

A wonderful golf experience. This course beats many courses that charge 75 or more dollars. A great layout with nice conditions is well worth $55 dollars on the weekday. Play it while it doesn't get too pricey unless you are wealthy and it doesn't matter what the fee is. This course is a very fair, enjoyable course for everyone. On holes 2 thru about 8 you have to block out the barking dogs from the adjacent dog pound. Bunkers are a little too soft. I can't wait to play here again.

Very nice course, though you would expect it as new as it is. Excellent customer service. Only problem is greens and the fact people do not repair their ball marks. This is really getting out of hand. No real rough, generous fairways, but if you miss, you lost a ball. I was in a lot of traps, and the sand was good. Very good course overall.
