Those photos are beautiful! Thanks so much. I've always wanted to play La Quinta Resort Mountain Course. Now it will be sooner than later.

BTW - Where did you stay out there? Did you get a good deal?

Oh - How did you do on hole 16? lol. That looks brutal!

Hey, actually I didn't stay out there, just decided to drive out. It was a good 1 1/2 hours from my hood, but early in the morning its an easy drive with a good CD in the car. Got a deal on the course, just gotta search around. I'll stay there for the Indian Wells outing, but got a friend out there where I can crash on the couch.

Hole 16 was awesome. The white tees were a little less elevated, but since it was the sig hole, I climbed up to the Tournament tee way up. Actually hit it well, since so elevated, apparently I had too much club, but ball was safely past the green at the mini shrub behind it. Chipped it well and putted for par. Only had 2 of those that day, but glad it was on that hole!
