Yes, I agree, Johnny. Just from a small amount of observation within a few years of visiting the low desert and also knowing a fer greenskeeper, those courses, including SilverRock, who heavily use rye for aesthetic purposes do run in to this situation in a certain amount of time given-- probably 3...

Very long and picturesque par 3 over water (between 210-230 from the last two sets of tees). Plays downhill to a large green with an occasional rear wind. Easily plays a club shorter than the yardage.
