Second stop today. I took my chances as a walk-on around 8:30 and there weren't too many people out on the course despite a picture perfect Saturday morning. $20 with a cart for 9 holes. I played through a couple groups and then had to wait on another group the last couple holes, but otherwise got around quite quickly. Overall, the course was in pretty good shape. Not too far out of reopening for overseed. Tee boxes very good. Fairways mostly great, but then there were a handful of fairly big patches of bare dirt that looked bad. So kind of 90% excellent and 10% terrible with no in between. Rough was mostly good, but also noticed some poor spots here and there. Bunkers nice and greens good overall. Soft and rolling smooth at medium speeds. This is a more interesting and "legit" course than I was expecting. Solid par-35 with three nice par-3s, two good par-5s and four par-4s, including the beastly 9th hole that is 460 yards with a tricky split fairway and water in front of the green. Overall, a nice-looking design that's fun. Won't beat you up, but far from a pushover. If they had another 9 holes, it would be one people might take more seriously, but it's a pretty decent 9-holer as it is.
