Played Apr 6. Greens had been aerated recently, but pro-shop said absolutely nothing when I made my tee time. My tee time was 9:10, but I didn't tee off until 9:50. Once started I waited to hit every shot since somewhere in front was an extremely slow group. I would have complained but I never saw a marshal to complain to. The round took 5 1/4 hours after a 40 minute delay to get started. I WILL NOT go back. I can play a five hour round close to home and save the 2 1/2 hour drive time.

The course except for aerating today could have had a major tournament. It was very windy and cool. This course with the length of the rough and difficulty, played very tough today. I would rate it as... Continue »

The course except for aerating today could have had a major tournament. It was very windy and cool. This course with the length of the rough and difficulty, played very tough today. I would rate it as one of the most difficult in San Diego/Riverside Counties.

Played Tuesday,Mar 22, with few golfers on the course.
Nonetheless it was still a long round by my standards.

Group ahead just would not move especially when they
were looking for balls left or particularly right. This is not
a course to crank it out anywhere. Tee shots are premium
and low ball hitters must bring it in shorter because of the
very firm nature of the greens.
Very nice course but you want to have to get there to play.
It is well off the hiways and roads of Temecula.

Played 12/8 early AM,wet and misty when we teed off, followed the PGA trainees, weather cleared, nice day, Pin placements were tough for the youngsters trying to pass their test and when greens dryed out the golf was tough. Course is in great shape, one of our favorites. we will return soon.

Cross Creek is a must play. It is hidden away in the hills, with little to no noise. The course has wide fairways, but don't let that get your hopes up. They are very sloping. I really enjoyed my ... Continue »

Cross Creek is a must play. It is hidden away in the hills, with little to no noise. The course has wide fairways, but don't let that get your hopes up. They are very sloping. I really enjoyed my round of golf, even if my score didn't show it. Green fees may be a little on the expensive side, but it's worth the price. Free range balls, very nice GPS, and the customer service is excellent.

Played here 10/2/04. Haven't been to the course in a while. The greens are in great shape but they are repairing a number of fairways. Most GPS courses don't provide adequate yardage markers which is a problem when you can't take the cart off the path and have no way to accurately determine yardage, as was the case on Saturday. This is a course that rewards accuracy and one where yardage is crucial. Unfortunately, with the repairs that was not possible on a number of holes.

Customer service is very good here as are the practice facilities. This course plays a 137 slope from the blues so bring your A-game.

You just have to like this course, very tranquil setting, quality from the minute you enter the gates! And for $45 a steal also!! Bring your tee shot as this is one of the most demanding courses I hav... Continue »

You just have to like this course, very tranquil setting, quality from the minute you enter the gates! And for $45 a steal also!! Bring your tee shot as this is one of the most demanding courses I have ever played. Rough is thick and wet, greens are fast and hard, but course is short enough where you can bring it in high. sand traps a little to wet though. Great GPS system which is neccesary to manuever the many blind shots. Course may be a little to tricked out, it's only downside.
