Well - this might be the first negative thing I've ever had to say about Goose Creek....but - I played on St. Patty's Day - - and the greens need to be rolled. Or something. Lumpy, bumpy....they still look nice (except for the incomprehensible number of unrepaired ball marks!) - but - watching some of our puts from the side was comical. Balls jumping all over the place.

Still the best value in So. Cal. golf.

Played Monday, 3/19. It's a great course. Rough was thick and lush. Lots of poa ana (sp) in the greens which made them slow and a little bumpy. Play was slow on the front, but sped up on the back.... Continue »

Played yesterday (3/19) for twilight rate 38.00. It's in great shape, and the pace is good too. We played as a three-some and finished front in 1 1/2 hr. Back nine a little slower but still less than 2hr. The fairways are very green, true rough, and the green is good (not excessively fast). Can't wait to go back!

Played twice in the last week, and I feel that Goose Creek is in the best shape of all the courses in the Inland Empire, probably in would be ranked in all Southern California in the top 5. Too bad its time for aerating everywhere, but it will be worth it as the course will only get BETTER !

I played here on 2-18-07 and once again the Goose impressed me with everything from the pro-shop, to the golf course, to the beers after the round. The conditions are as good if not better than any other course in SoCal. Customer service is super friendly and an excellent practice range. The Goose is by far one of my favorite tracks to play, and I can't wait to come back and play. It is tough to get a time here on the weekend though, for obvious reasons.

Played the Goose today for my second time. Cool and windy, but otherwise the course itself was in excellent shape. Per others' prior comments, it is a consistently well-maintained course.

Ahhh The Goose is maybe 20 times better right now,, love them both but Los Serranos is maybe trying to recoup $$ from all the work last year. Or,, just lousy upkeep. We have scheduled the Goose next week.
