Played 9-16-18. Course had reopened the previous Monday so was expecting some signs of healing. Did not see any indication of punching. May have healed that quickly but seemed odd. The bunkers were ha... Continue »

Until we have the opportunity to recondition the fairway bunkers, they are played as waste areas. You will be able to identify them by a blue stake inside the area. We appreciate your patience.

marcbrdtrts is a little harsh. If you’re a short hitter (or you don’t hit fairway woods well) then you definitely want to play this hole conservatively and avoid the problems he mentions. However, if you can get your drive to or past the cart path in the first fairway, you may want to consider going directly over the hill with a fairway wood or hybrid. That will put you either on or near the green – there’s about 30 yards of grass in front before the green so you don’t have to carry it all the way.

Nice finishing hole, just stay right of the f/w bunker on the left side and you will be in great shape for the 2nd shot. Playing from blue tees, I was 137 yards out. Right side of the green is protected by a lake and left side has a bunker, but the front is open for all kinds of shots.
