Played Monday as I had the day off work - The investments they're making on this course seem to be paying off. The rear teebox on #11 is finally flat and covered in grass! Unfortunately the green has been completely torn out as they appear to be re-building it. It was always one of the most difficult greens in terms of hitting it as well as putting - the temporary green was nothing worthwhile, just picked up and took my par. Rest of the greens are in better-than-usual Waterman shape: rolling fairly true at medium speed but bumpy in the afternoons.

Overall the course is in great shape - fairway on sometimes dry holes like #13 was lush, and there's some semblance of rough growing in. Practice green had some kind of infestation, however.

Still, it's Waterman, through and through - Great service, great people, amazing price, an interesting layout, but you can't expect perfect greens or lies from this place. If you just want to have fun and play golf, it's a great track that doesn't beat you up, some of the shorter par 4's are deceptively difficult, and you can never go wrong for the price.
