I just caught weber's review and saw the comment about the course being closed for 4 months for "renovations".

Sure, it's hot out there and I can completely understand a July/August closure (maybe only open weekends for Resort guests?), but four months seems an unusually long time to be closed given the course hasn't even been open for a full year.

Does this raise a Red Flag to anyone else?

I'm gonna be seriously bummed if this goes beyond November and I lose out on my free round (was originally planning to play early Fall on my way to Yuma for my H.S. reunion).

Rest assured Rams Hill will be open Nov 2015
You have to understand the process.
We started with a major project of growing turf on three and a half year old fallow ground.
Our focus for 2015 was turf.
Along with the turf we had 60+ acres of landscape to rehabilitate.
We are currently in the midst of a one million dollar landscape renovation project along with a million + dollar re paving and landscape project for our entry way
In order for our contractors to be as productive as possible we made the decision early on to close while the major work can be complete.
Also would like to mention the additional 500k being spent on upgrading our practice facility and 3+ million dollar solar array.
Hopefully this makes sense to all of the skeptics
New ownership is fully committed to re investing all of the revenue we gain into what is our greatest asset the golf course.
Look forward to seeing all of you again soon.
