"Played last Saturday and it was HOT, triple digits but there was a breeze. It's an OK course but with the price of gas I don't think it's worth the drive unless it's somewhat local for you. It's not a long course but the trees can be a challenge if you don't hit the ball straight off the tee. The greens are a little tricky to read so I left too many short and long. The sand is another story, with all the watering we had a number of traps with water and if it was dry they were a bit on the hard side. The good side is that getting a tee time is easy, of course it did make us wonder why the parking lot was so empty... not many players but perhaps it was the heat. Since I'm from Orange County, I'll probably save the money on gas and put it towards the more local courses."
