Played in the late afternoon Thursday, 8/21/08 - sunny hot day with not too bad wind that dropped later in the afternoon. Always great conditions here - greens receptive and medium fast. Few players around and we finished in 3.5 hours. Always recommended.

Played this a few weeks ago with Bggpoppa. This was an excellent course and great choice to play when in vegas. It's not too far away, but it's away from everything, even the freeway. Excellent customer service and they got us out very quickly. Teeboxes were excellent even and lush. Fairways were awesome! Green and short. Sand was soft... greens were in excellent shape! You have to have the right speed or you'll be chipping back into the green on your next shot. Pace of play was great. Got to play some of the wolf course after. Wind started to pick up at that time. Overall, for the cost, this was a steal in Vegas!

Played in shotgun tournament on 2/29. Course was in great shape and pace of play for tournament was great. Great layout with many risk and reward par 4's. Customer service was excellent. Tournament was well organized and for the price of 58 dollars with an excellent buffet and 2 hour open bar with great prizes an outright steal. They gave away memberships and 3 premium golf clubs for closest to the pin and long drive. If you ever see one of their shotgun tournaments do not hesitate, it was one of the best I have ever played in period!!!!!

Played the Snow Course Saturday 2/23/08 on a all day play $79 (Thanks Geraldq18) The course was immaculate!! The tee boxes and fairways were lush.. I'm serious they take real good care of this course.. Plenty of water around the course, and in this part of the desert the wind can really howl.. Fortunately it was only around 12-18mph.. As the previous posts stated the greens are awesome but they are definitely FAST!! If you can't check the ball your are not going to hold many greens.. From the tips it makes the course that much more challenging.. Definitely worth the green fee!!

My threesome played Paiute Snow 3 days in a row,19 20 21 Nov 07. They give you 10% off day 2 and 20% off day 3. Course was in good shape and was a very nice course - very windy on day 2 par 5's became par 7's into the wind. Greens lightning fast- downhill putts were 3 putts. I think the ball accelerated uphill as well! NO HOUSES around course -a great feature. Very nice clubhouse but basic washroom facilities. Food and beverage prices a bit high. Decent value for money otherwise.

Played 10/28/2006 on a perfect day for golf - warm and only light breeze. The three courses here always seem to be in great condition, and this was no exception. Fairways great, greens very smooth, traps actually had been raked, although most were wet from watering. Stay on the fairway, as rough is not long but is wiry and can be difficult to hit from. Plenty of room to hit from the tees, but greens are set up to make you hit to certain parts of the fairways to get good approach angles. BUT: greens are VERY firm and don't hold many shots, even wedges, for most players who don't spin the ball like the pros. And the greens were cut to a speed that most amateurs can't handle, including myself. Our group spent a lot of time chipping the ball back and forth over the greens, or running the ball 5, 10, or even 15 feet beyond the hole on putts. This contributed to a very slow pace and a lot of frustration. Although the course was in great shape in scenic surroundings, I can't recommend it for any but single-digit handicaps in the interest of golfer sanity.

Always a pleasure to return to Paiute. While the rest of Vegas is getting ready to overseed, the conditions are immaculate.Great greens that roll true.

Great! Worth every penny. Why can't Las Vegas "supers" keep there coures in this great shape? It's become embarassing to take guests to our local courses at this time of year.

Vegas golf in July - if you're lucky you can catch a bit cooler weather (cooler being sub 100 degrees) and play spectacular courses at ridiculously low prices. Snow Mountain was spectacular. The service is top notch. Course condition was near perfect - how do they do that in 100+ degree summer? There isn't 30-40mph wind in the summer - I'm sure that applies in the winter season. The course is a fun track where you actually enjoy golf, as opposed to those elite courses with 150 course / 75 slope rating where you compliment the scenice view while feeling miserable about your golf game.

Played on 8 Jul for the cardmembers rate of $29 (best bargain in town). I don't know how they keep this course in such good condition. I've played this course several times since my last post and the conditions remain excellent. My only grip is the 16th green which has started to develop some bare areas. Greens rolled true and fast. Bunkers were consistent. Played in less than 3 1/2 hours. Customer service is second to none. The three courses at Paiute are among the best in the Las Vegas area. You will truly find solitude here as you don't really see any other golfers around you. Highly recomended!

This is one of my favorite LV resorts. Layouts are gorgeous and the service is top notch. We visited in early March of 2005 and the courses were in fantastic shape. This year we visited in late February and the courses were a little dry, crisp, and a little discolored. That was a bit disappointing. The greens still rolled very smoothly and all in all this is still one of the top resorts to visit. It's a definite must play each time we're in LV.

Great course in excellent condition. Play early to avoid the wind. You won't find better maintained courses anywhere. Highly recommended.

Paiute presents an excellent golfing experience which begins upon arrival with the bag drop-off. The service throughout is exempliary and you are always made to feel welcome. The courses are always in excellent shape, it is difficult to get a bad lie in the fairways. Yardage information is never more than a few steps away anywhere in the fairways. Greens are excellent and a bit on the fast side as far as putting goes. Each course has a unique quality. Pete Dye did an excellent job here and although there is a lot of visual intimidation you also get a safe play on every hole. A lot of risk - reward opportunity.
