Most always play Rhodes. Great coure with the exception of 2 greens at this time. Worth every penny of $35 for twilight rates.

Played in the late afternoon on Thursday, 6/5/08, on a clear sunny day with only light breezes - perfect golf weather. Very good conditions thruout the course, greens a little firm. However, very poor pace (we played 15 holes in ~4 hrs and had to quit in the dark) and no pace management by the course - didn't ever see a ranger. Twosomes strung out, people playing obviously wrong tees, people not knowing how to play ready golf. Good rate on email special, good conditions, but may not go back.

Par 3s are some of the best in vegas. Allways a good challenge. Usually crowded course.

Played on a very windy day. The par 3 make this course. Greens were a bit slow, but rolled true and smooth. Overall a very good golf course.

greens are in excellent shape, a little firm but it's winter. Fairways and rough are lush for this time of year. Beautiful views with a lot of palm trees on the course, Par 3s are some of the most scenic and toughest in the vegas area.

Played it on 12/29/07. It was cold but no breeze so it was OK. This is another one of those courses that plays better on the tips. I've always played the whites and blues, but this course is another good course to play the tips. Not really a long hitter, but the group I was with were. The greens rolled good, the fairway ran nice and fast. The services were good. I'll play it again.

I PLAYED FRIDAY AND THE COURSE WAS OUTSTANDING, EXCEPT FOR THE "GREENS". THE COURSE WENT THROUGH A ROUGH WINTER AND THE GREENS GOT EATTEN UP BY A fungi.
THEY HAD TO REPLACE ALL OF THE GREENS AGAIN, THEY HAD JUST DONE LAST YEAR AND UNFORTUNATELY THEY DID IT AGAIN. THIS IS WHY THE GREENS WHERE SOOO SLLOOOOWWW, ROLLED ABOUT AN 8 , THEY DID JUST GET SANDED. WITHIN A MONTH OR SO THE GREENS ARE GOING TO BE ROLLING ABOUT A 10
BUT, OVERALL I THOUGHT THE COURSE WAS TOP NOTCH, ESPECIALLY FOR $65. THE FAIRWAYS AND ROUGH WHERE IN SUPERB PLAYING CONDITION, FAIRWAY WAS MOWED TIGHT AND AND THE ROUGH WAS FLUFFY ENOUGH TO LET YOUR BALL SIT-UP JUST ENOUGH TO GET A GOOD IMPACT ON THE BALL. THE SANTRAPS HAS SOME GOOD QUALITY SAND AND POPS-OUT VERY NICELY.
THE SERVICE IS VERY GOOD, AS YOU DRIVE UP THEY CONFIRM YOUR TEE TIME AND BRING YOUR BAG TO THE DRIVING RANGE (FREE RANGE BALLS TOO!).
PACE OF PLAY WAS STANDARD 4-4 1/2 HOURS. IT WAS SO NICE THAT MY FRIENDS, AND I RE-PLAYED FOR $30, SO $95 FOR 36 HOLES, NOT A BAD DEAL FOR LAS VEGAS GOLF.
I WILL PLAY HERE AGAIN.

Played Sunday morning, 6/3/2007, on a hot sunny calm day – perfect conditions. This is a resort-style course without much elevation change, wide fairways and playing areas, low level of difficulty. Saw some recent posts regarding the poor condition of the greens here, so I asked the starter how the greens were – “Perfect” he said. Well, don’t believe everything you hear. Apparently a few months ago they lost the greens, so what we had yesterday were greens that had been sodded and rolled. The roots hadn’t fully taken yet, so the greens couldn’t be cut short and were bushy and very slow. Not bumpy and rolled well, but very hard and wouldn’t hold shots. My verdict – 4 out of 10. Fairways and bunkers were in good shape, rough was moderate. Some water hazards need cleanup –a lot of stinky, muddy creeks and slimy lake areas. Plenty of water available, cart girl came by often, good food and service in the grill room. Good for a casual round at a course that can’t really hurt you.

Played this past weekend and the course is very lush......except for the Greens, at least they tried to put the cups on the green that had the 10 square feet of actual grass. Yes the greens are gone from the frost, but it's the middle of April and no punching, seeding, just dirt, sand and dead grass. Putting wasnt too bad, just look for a lot less break than it appears, but to pay to play right now at Rhodes Ranch, I would rather play a municipal course. Save your money and if you want to play the course be sure you call and get an update on the greens. I really wish I took my camera to post some pictures of the greens for all to see.

The management who runs Rhodes Ranch has no clue how to keep up a golf course. Greens have no grass! Are you kidding me! Sister course Tuscany has no problems with greens. I'd stay clear from Rhodes Ranch and play Sienna or Legacy instead.

Rhodes Ranch is by far the worse greens I have ever played on. They Management head person who is in charge of the operations there is not very friendly and non professional. The blame it on the winter cold. They really don't know what they are doing... Its a shame because i hear all the greens were re-done recently. Jim Rhodes should cut his losses... stay clear of this course for the next 6-8 months...

Played on 3/16/07 and the course from tee to green is immaculate but these are by FAR the WORST greens I have ever seen, it was like putting on a dirt field and I'am not kidding there wasn't a single blade of grass on the greens but they still charged $139 to play on a friday. They said they lost them in the cold weather but Bears Best 2 miles away had OUTSTANDING greens, they better get there act together SOON. AVOID Rhodes Ranch until they get the greens replaced!!!! Don't waste your $$$ here.

Course is great. The service is great. Very popular with locals. Call the proshop 10 days in advance to get a good tee time. Buy the player's card. With the player's card, service improves from 8 to a 10.

Real nice track. Cart path only until Oct. 1. Everthing lush (fairways maturing after overseed.) Love the 18th. Cart girl always around. Pro Shop staff left something to be desired.

A nice layout. Not too long at 6405 yds from the blues. The fairways and rough were in terrible shape, maybe due to the time of year. Many burned out areas and just dirt in some areas. Large greens rolling at an average pace, not too fast. Value was excellent. Only paid $25 Tuesday rate after 10 AM. Pace of play was very nice. No long waits, played in around 3 1/2 hours.

Played on 7/29/2006. Course just reopened from having the greens redone. The greens were okay but the rest of the course if burned out. Fairways have lots of dirt patches and have a lot of work going on. Layout is good, but not that great of value.

Played on a Friday mid morning. Pace was fine. Very nice track and a good value for Las Vegas. Nice facility with huge putting green and excellent grass driving range. Great service. I'll play this again on my next trip.

First time playing Rhodes Ranch. Very nice course, great layout. However, the greens were pretty beat up. A lot of ball marks, and at times, very spotty where grass was not growing. The main complaint was the pace of play. On the tenth tee there were four groups on one hole. The whole round took about 5 hours. Otherwise a must play in Vegas

Played Sunday, 1/8/06 under perfect weather conditions. This is a resort-style course in good condition - not very long or penal. Water on many holes used mainly for visual effect (hey, its Ted Robinson). Grass on the greens was a little thin and some of the bunkers needed more sand, but overall the conditions were good and the greens rolled true. Scenic distant views of nearby mountains and the Vegas valley - the holes are generally surrounded by homes. No GPS, but yardage book available and fairways have numerous yardage plates, and some sprinkler heads are marked. Cart girl came around at least twice each nine, and plenty of drinking water available. Recommended.

Absolulty a great course! The par threes are killer but fun. The corse is not long, but little quirks make it fun for both hackers and scratch golfers. The minute we walked into the door, it felt like we were regulars. The starters couldn't have been more friendly. I used the Red Dot discount and it cost next to nothing to play a great course. Defineteely try this course, you won't be disappointed.
