Played in the late afternoon Thursday, 9/25/08, on a sunny breezy warm day. Course uncrowded but we were rushed out ahead of a group of employees who stood on the tee while we hit. Several holes roped off and a couple of greens had substantial areas recently resodded. Generally enough water, saw cart girl twice on the front nine. Some areas with lots of divots in fairway. Generally recommended.

Played on 6/30 on breezy afternoon for great local rate of $29. It was a steamy day high of 110F. Course is in great shape for summer unfortunately they are aerating again next Monday and Tuesday. Greens ran true but community players do not fix ball marks!!! Customer service here is always first class and course is great but since they are aerating will give it a month before playing again. Not a long course but challenging because of layout and deep bunkers everywhere!! I will be back

Played Thursday afternoon, 5/1/08, on a sunny windy day. I’ve generally liked this course in the past because of good playability and challenging greens and deep sand traps. Not overly long, but today almost every hole seemed to play into the wind! Consistent with water-saving emphasis in Vegas recently, course has converted many acres of turf to desert hardpan or rock washes, restricting playing areas and making the course tougher than it used to be. Most of the work is very attractive, but you don’t want to play from these areas, especially the rock-filled swales with chunks the size of your head paving the ground. Greens were dry and firm, fairways thin and hard. I spent a LOT of time in bunkers, and the sand is heavy and fairly deep. Cart girl came by a couple times before 5PM, but half of the coolers were empty, and a majority of the ball washers were dry or inoperative. No ranger. A group event had taken place earlier that day, and almost all of the bunkers had substantial footprints and unraked areas, and all greens had lots of unrepaired ball marks – golfers are scum! Overall condition OK – generally recommended.

Our Group had a 1:03pm Tee-Time and we didn't get out until almost 1:30. Disappointed in the Course for the Rate We had to pay. Greens were not in Great Shape at All. We would not play this course again. The rate the charge out of towners is not justified. I glad it was a Trilight Rate and not full rack rate.

played on windy afternoon on 8/6. course was in good shape with exception of tee boxes which are pretty beat up. greens are in tremendous shape for summer. got great local rate of 29 dollars pace of play was great under 3.5 hours. great layout tough driving holes with deep deep fairway bunkers which i found way to many times a total of 11 sand shots for me ouch!!! good course for the price with good customer service!!!

Played here Friday 3/30 and conditions were good. Not a bad layout though there are houses everywhere. If this course was not in Vegas though their regular rates would be a $100 less so I'd shop around before spending $185 for this course.

Played 3/21/07 on a warm late afternoon with intermittent clouds and breezes. Course was generally in good shape with firm greens that rolled well, good fairways and traps, almost no rough and hard-packed desert areas. Very deep traps to be avoided, sloppy greens sometimes hard to read. Generally attractive surroundings. Brutally slow pace today behind someone’s (not very good) high school golf team meant that we couldn’t finish. No cart girl, no ranger at this time of day. Generally recommended.

Played at 4PM on 9/21 to get the twilight rate. Played here twice before in the past year and liked the course as challenging for mid-level golfers - slopy greens, deep traps, but ample hitting areas and attractive surroundings. Conditions this time were disappointing - they've just come out of their overseeding and there are many problem areas in the fairways, with some areas having only stubble or dirt. The course is also converting much of the margin between cart paths and surrounding development from grass to desert landscaping to save water, so there's a lot of 'construction' feel to many holes. Greens were generally in good shape and held shots well; most bunkers were in good shape. No cart girl at this time of day. One very bad situation - apparently no one in the known universe ever repairs divots or ball marks - fairway areas had large groups of unfilled gouges in many places, and almost every green had dozens of unrepaired marks or damaged areas. I like the course but was disappointed in the condition.

Played 8-15, $29 afternoon rate. A little breezy but ok,course plays short if you keep the ball in the fairway, but if you put the ball in the many bunkers it can be difficult. Greens were ok, fairways good. I liked the course alot, visually appealing. The course played fair and I enjoyed my round, local knowledge will be helpful for my next round.

Very nice course. A fair test at 6538 from the Black Tees. Condition was great. Pace of play was good. No waiting on any holes. Watch out for fairway and green side bunkers, the majority have high lips. If you hit past the pins you will have a fast putt or chip on most holes. I would highly recommend this course.

Played late afternoon on 7/19/06, with course fairly deserted due to heat and some thunderstorms in the area. Played here last summer and was anticipating returning. I wasn't disappointed - course is in great shape and is challenging for mid-level golfers. Attractive setting, nearby mountain views, nicely landscaped. More undulation to the greens than I remembered - it's easy to be on the wrong side of humps and bumps between you and the flag. Cheap GPS and no yardage book, but course is pretty well marked. Greens were thin but rolled well and were fairly firm, but slower than I expected. Too many holes roped off and required lots of walking. Overall recommended.

played on 6/28. this course is one of the toughest in vegas in my opinion especially if you play from the fairway bunkers as i did. bunkers have high lips and lots of undulation. course is in good shape and price for twilight is the best in vegas for locals 29 dollars after 200 pm. has many interesting holes and greens were running smooth for this time of year but still cant believe noone fixes ball marks anymore cmon fellow golfers. a good value for the summer!!

I played twilight last week. Reasonably priced local rates for twilight. Course will make you pay greenside but rewards good iron play with subtle greens. Sand traps can be rather punishing especially on the back nine. Only hole I don’t like is 5. Kinda crammed into the homes and gimmicky. Rest of the layout is forgiving off the tee, visually enjoyable, and gives plenty of chances to score. Great golf course!

Pleasant, visually pleasing resort-style course that delivers a solid round. Ample hitting areas surrounded by desert-type landscaping and homes, but latter weren't intrusive. Rolling landscape made for only slight elevation changes - would be easy to walk in cooler weather (played 8/24/05 at twilight rate). Large greens in good condition rolled well. Some deep bunkers that should be avoided. Recommended for all but primo players, who would likely find it bland.
