Does anyone know how/whether Los Angeles City golf courses are going to enforce the same household rule? Are people just lying and saying that they are "roommates" with their usual golf buddies? Are the courses going to actually try to check IDs and require addresses to match?
Has anyone been out to the courses yet and have first hand experience?
(For those not aware, LA city golf sent the following email to card holders:
"Due to the additional safety modifications to the L.A. County Health Department's "Safer at Home" order, our golf reservation policy has been changed until further notice. Effective immediately, all new golf reservations are available to book for 2, 3, or 4 players and all players in your group must be from a single household.")
I have a choice tee time reserved for this Saturday, and I don't want to get turned away when I show up with my usual group. Any help here would be appreciated.

Played at an LA County course this past Sat. Not going to disclose which one because don't want anyone to inadvertently get in trouble. At check-in was advised that they had to ask if from same household, but wasn't going to ask to see ID. Have a time for an LA City course this coming Sat also so we'll see if it even gets kept considering the stricter lockdown.

Thanks for the info! Do you think that the courses are going to get shut down entirely or something?

Right, but just hoping to hear from anybody that played at any of the LA city courses this past weekend to see whether there is any real enforcement. Thanks.

Online it only looks like you can book four spots. Would also be curious if anyone has found a way to deal with the situation where you only have a twosome.

Maybe try to book the 4some, then afterward see if it will let you modify it down to 2?

Good suggestion Hugepark. It worked. Now we'll just have to see what happens upon arrival to the course.

My buddy had a tee time at Trump for Thursday that they called to cancel unless they were from the same household. Claimed they would be checking ID's and enforcing it.

Read some responses on the /r/golf subreddit and there's some posts saying that the "no show" fee at LA City courses are being waived if you show up with less than 4. It seems they're using booking foursomes so others can't be grouped into your time if you have less than 4.
