Since playing here last, 10 months ago, conditions are consistent with the review below. See detailed ratings for numbers. 1150 tee time, $25 golfnow 'hot deals', 4 ball, finishing in 4hrs 10. Breezy day, and warm, but overall, course in Good shape, and worth the discounted green fee.

Good pace following several 4 balls, nice staff, F&B, marshallers. Good practice facility, course layout, and maintenance; perhaps some areas overwatered. Fairways dry and running, rough good with no problems if hit into. Sand good, Greens are fully recovered, soft, bumpy and medium speed. Finished in 3hrs50.

11:44 tee time, $25 golfnow. Easy pace, nice marshallers, no drinks cart, but enough water stations.

11:44 tee time, $25 golfnow. Easy pace, nice marshallers, no drinks cart, but enough water stations.
Tees tired, fairways good and dry and fast, rough and sand good. Greens soft, holding, but bumpy when putting. Layout sufficient challenge or good workout for your game. Nice muni really with good practice facility; cheap range balls-$4 bucket.
Worth a look for a deal.

Monday 2pm round, $27 with cart. Good service and practice facility, fun course in very good shape for now. Greens aerating early April. Greens were quick,holding and tricky with all the undulations. Challenging enough when you pick your days as the course is right next to an airport therefore exposed to wind. Good maintenance and nice marshalling kept the pace up. Easy walk too.

Played Friday November 21. This course usually has smooth fast undulating greens, but for some reason they decided to sand the greens today. So the greens were almost unputtable. Otherwise its a fun course, with a lot of short par 4's, but enough hazard trouble to keep you from just bombing every shot. Nice staff and clubhouse/food service etc. One of these days they'll reverse the 9's and it'll make a much better course. The afternoon winds blow 20-30 against the last 3 holes making it frustrating. #16 is a long par 4 with a hazard requiring a 240 yard carry against the wind. Most of us humans have to lay up so the second shot is another 200 against the wind. Its next to the airport so you have to get used to the constant drone of planes taking off over your head.

Fun little course that exceeded my expectations. Situated around semi-rural land with great views of classic norcal hills in the background. Right next to the Petaluma airport and its fun to watch all the planes coming in and out, its a small airport, not like playing next to sfo or something.

I appreciated the variation in holes that the course offered - doglegs, water, and shots were you could be risky or not. The par 4 lengths was a little repetitive . . . overall though I would definitely play here again. Good pace of play until the end the back nine.

Course is in excellent condition and well designed. Fairways and rough were well maintained and fair. Because of the warm sunny weather, it was very crowded...almost a 5 hour round as a 2-some. Greens... Continue »

Course is in excellent condition and well designed. Fairways and rough were well maintained and fair. Because of the warm sunny weather, it was very crowded...almost a 5 hour round as a 2-some. Greens were very bumpy but quick. Always windy but for the money, one of the best golf bargains ($33 w/cart) in Northern California...superb design/quality experience.

Course was in great shape. Greens were smooth and true. Excellent customer service along with a great place to eat and watch the games. Even the airport didn't bother me while playing here.
