My two biggest complaints about my round today... You have a driving range and you go get balls and they have no range balls... No one picking balls staff was just okay with saying we have no balls you can get a refund. After the round we go to their restaurant and the waitress tells us they don't have a cook... So glen ivy has a range with no range balls and a restaurant with no cook to cook the food.. Awesome. Not going back there. Last time we were there we played 9 holes in 3 hours and 10 minutes. So that's two times the course leaves a bad taste in my mouth

Played in my first GK outing.. It was a lot of fun.

Their practice facility was awesome.. nice chipping area, big putting green. Their range was pretty big with complementary balls.

POP was good.. yes it was in the slower side BUT it was consistent, so getting in a good groove was never an issue. The course was super nice. It was my first time playing out in palm springs and its probably the best course I've played to date.

Fairways were pure.. a lot of undulations on the fairway so getting a flat lie was unusual.

Rough.. was rough but it was lush and not bad to hit out of

Bunkers.. They did advice us that they were thin because they were going to remodel.. I personally like thin bunkers to me they are easier to get out of.. and thank god because I hit a lot of them lol

Greens: This is where I had an issue with...The greens or the size of the holes that have been punched probably about a week and half ago got worse as the day went on.. I managed to have 32 putts which is not bad.. but I can easily shave about 5 strokes with putting along.. They were slow, bumpy and just bad.. BUT! that comes with maintenance and it doesn't mean anything. because when those greens are fully healed I'm sure they are awesome!

Overall. The course was fun and challenging.. It was a great time at my first GK outing.. and I definitely can't wait until PGA West.. I had a great time and I want to thank Johnny for putting it together.

How did my rating come out to 6.2!??! I give it a 8!!

This is a superb track... Its super challenging and a fun layout... the whole course played super super firm.. the fairways the ball would take huge bounces.. which is good on drives but not good if you are laying up to certain distances because the bounces were unpredictable..

This course has the toughest greens I've played in.. they break in many different directions and they are real fast.. my only complain about the greens is that if you are going to have real fast greens with lots of breaks.. you need to try your absolute best to keep them smooth. Bumpy fast greens is so hard to putt on.. but this track is so challenging and fun i will continue to play there.. I'm just hoping they cut them and keep them smooth.. and give us some softer fairway conditions.

Played here on Saturday 2/27/16

The layout was okay.. the greens were tough!.. it was $57 for a saturday morning.. I guess because its the weekend i was okay with paying that much.. but if it wasn't the weekend I wouldn't pay that much.. POP was decent for how busy they were.. I just wasn't impressed with the course.. but it was still a fun round with the buds.

Played here 12/2/15 my first time here and it was a pretty awesome experience. Course layout was pretty awesome, its just a fun course. Every hole is different in its own ways.. challenging in its own ways. the greens coming down hill were quick.. their range was decent, wish they would have had grass instead of matts. Their customer service was great, real nice people working that course. Ate at their restaurant and their waitress was very nice, and their food was great at a real good price. I had an awesome time definitely will be golfing here again.

I haven't played upland in a while, and i thought to play it because its short and i needed work in the scoring zone.. I will not be playing here unless its free or i absolutely have too. This course is god awful now. I don't remember it being so bad.. you are hitting out of dirt in the middle of the fairway.. I enjoy the small narrow challenge but conditions are bad.. and they charge an insane amount... $39.00 in the morning and $27 for twilight... empire down the street is 20x in better shape and cheaper.. sorry Upland

Played here 7/22 Shot an 84.. my first time playing here... Front 9 is definitely tougher than the back.. Fun lay out definitely will play here again.

Customer service was great.. from the pro shop guy, to the starter, to the guy that came and swapped out our car because we got a flat tire. They had a solid deal were we got a free sleeve of proVs.

Course was in fairly decent shape.. I am assuming because of the drought that is going on, a lot of the courses are being more conservative.. which i totally understand and accept why some conditions are what they are. The greens were rolling pretty decent even though they did cut slits on them to let some of the moisture out. I enjoyed my round POP was pretty good until the back but it still wasn't terribly slow. Will be coming back

Thanks for the great customer service!

p.s. Their food at their restaurant was phenomenal!!!

It was my first time playing here.. It was okay. The course has a pretty fun layout and some challenging shots. I paid $38 for 9:30am tee time. It was okay for the price. Its prime time so I am okay with paying that price. The course conditions were okay.. rough was rough and the fairway seemed like it was just really short rough. Their greens were pretty long so they were soft and slow but thats easily fixed by being cut. Their greens there are fun because of how sloped they were and how challenging the putts were. Tee boxes were a little bad but nothing I couldn't manage. I would definitely play here again later on the day when its cheaper.

I played here on 4/8/15

First time playing Oak Valley. I have to say it is definetly a nice course. Very well maintained from their practice tee to their 18th green. It is challenging in its own way. A lot of elevation change. A lot of elevated greens. They are a little pricey but its still a great course and will definitely take the trip out there and play there again in the future

Played here 4/28/15 I have a couple of issues with this course....

To be completely honest this is a very nice course.. is it worth the $49-55 green fee? I don't think it is. I don't think this course can compete with goosecreek, but its almost the same price. The greens here are decent but a lot of ball marks. I know the course can't do anything about other golfers not repairing their golf mark. They stack their tee times and I had a crowd of 2 , 4 somes stacked on the #1 tee. Not a big deal but it just seems like they get everyone out at the same time.

I am not taking anything away from this course. It is in very nice shape, and when the wind is not blowing its a fun course. Shot an 89 from the tips could have done a lot better.. but hey its golf

played here on 2/19/15 and let me tell you...

Their customer service there is unreal! They are extremely nice there. from the moment you pull in to the moment you leave the clubhouse. The Desert course was in really good condition. I did not get to play the Lakes which I have heard is even better. I tipped it out and the Desert played pretty long. I had a great golf experience there and I will definitely be going back to play the Lakes.
