Eagle Falls is and will always be one of my favorites. Great conditions and a wonderful layout with a variety of holes make me want to drive out to Indio again and play even though I was just there. Don't play the Eagle tees unless you are a 5 or less. There are several holes that can be dangerous if someone who can't control their ball well tees off from there while their playing partners wait for them playing more forward tees.

The last time I played here there were ugly fans surrounding each green. NO more. They changed the type of grass that can withstand the heat much better. The course is also much better. You have your tough water holes. But even on the shorter par 4's you have to strategize your play. Every hole is an adventure and fun to play. The improved conditions make it all the better.

Do not fall into thinking this course is easy from the first three holes. Holes 4 and on quickly become filled with OB stakes. On some holes the owners yard almost reaches the cart path like no.13. Irons are best off the tee on many holes. No.18 has a huge expanse of an area to hit to .Just avoid the large fairway bunker. Watch out for the road next to the green on no. 12. The fairways are very nice while the rest is ok. This is a course that I don't particularly like but one that I would like to play again. Do I make sense?

I really enjoyed this course. They have got a few very challenging holes that make up for the many relatively easy ones. It is wide open but well bunkered so you will need a sand game. I wish the greens were nicer. They held chips and pitches well but did not roll well. We were lucky not to have much wind. A very friendly staff and clean clubhouse with great food is a bonus. I will be back.

What an awesome golf course. I could rave about this place forever but I will save it and say go play it. This is now my favorite in the Coachella Valley. My only negative was some of the greens were just a bit dry. 62 by Bubba Watson from the silver tees is unbelievable. It shows you how good the tour guys are.

This course takes you out and back. Seeing the water park nearby made want to drive the cart over there and take a splash. The course is not difficult. The many mounds make for some blind shots and side-hiller lies. The par 3's although not long are somewhat tough. The course is in good shape, nothing wrong, but nothing great either. I will play the Legend course on Monday. I will be the ball.

This course much easier than the north one. Large greens, wide fairways and little wind make this an excellent place for a high handicapper or beginner. Only a few holes tighten up a bit on the back. There are many bunkers and some water that come in play if you are not careful. Everything is in great shape. The rough and fairways get a 9! A mid to low handicapper would probably get bored here. Even if you go birdie birdie birdie birdie ...nooot

I will get the negative out of the way first. One of the grounds crew was an ! (at) #$% today. It seems he doesn't care about paying golfers. This course is a lot tougher than you may think from the tee. From 230 yards out the fairway really begins to narrow on many holes. Longer hitters must take this into account. You do not want to be in many of the fairway bunkers. There are trees mostly palm trees between you and the green if you find a fairway bunker. This is more penalizing. Another thing to watch out for is OB near many of the greens. The course is in great shape. The tees a 10 and the greens a 9, outstanding!

The great quality of greens at public munis as compared with 20 years ago is truly remarkable. We are very lucky. When I played this course back then it was a joke. The ball would get airborne from the greens being so bumpy. Despite some sand and remnants of holes from aerifying the greens rolled very well. The rest of the course is in good shape.

Wow, This is the best I have ever seen this course. The tee boxes are still in shambles but the greens and fairways are in much better shape. The bunkers are ok but would be better if people took the time to rake them. This was also the busiest I have ever seen this place. Even in June a jacket is needed to play here due the cool ocean breeze. haaaa Have a coke and a smile.

This is the first time I have played here since they have built a new clubhouse. It is very nice. This course is now public. They will make a lot of money as long as they don't raise the fees too high. This course is better than most in L. A. and Orange County that are public venues. The condition of all areas are good, not great but good. The layout is fun with numerous water holes. I will be back soon. fix ball marks play in 4 hours or less
